Atmosphere was perfect for my partner and I to have a quiet birthday meal. Service was perfectly paced, no rushing, food was perfect. Outstanding value for money. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The perfect setting for our celebration lunch. Friendly, welcoming staff made us feel special. Every bite was sublime and the wine was perfect. So pleased we chose Darleys for our anniversary meal.

First visit to Darley’s with my Mum for her birthday. We opted for the Set Menu (3 courses), with a bottle of Provence rosé. Service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. Food was a delight! The birthday plate was a lovely touch. Will be back for the Tasting Menu! View menu

As it was Mother's Day we asked for a table overlooking the weir which was delivered. We hadn't been to Darleys for a while and we were very impressed. Parking was a nightmare. There literally is nowhere to park. Darleys suggested parking in the Rugby club car park which clearly says No trespassing. So I parked in Folly Lane. Glad I did as the Rugby club gates were locked when we came past after lunch. Be careful. We shall be back

We last ate here in 2023, having enjoyed many happy times at Darleys over the last 30 years: Birthdays Anniversaries etc. We are pleased to say Darleys is back on form! Lunch was both excellent value, beautifully presented (and served) and the food was delicious. A transformation from our last visit... We shall be back very soon again be able to champion the best dining experience Derby has to offer...with pride truthfulness: tremendous. With thanks!

This really is a delightful hidden gem for Derby. We have been a few times now. The staff are always very polite and accommodating. Service is excellent and every meal is an experience The food is outstandingly good. They offer a variety of menus ranging from a real experience taster menus with wine tasting which comes with expectations of cost but it really is worth it), through to something very affordable yet you get to enjoy the experience at the same time £30 for two courses).
