"We were guests in Königsstein because we visited the beautiful Königsstein Fortress. Really recommended to everyone and rarely visited in the winter months, like now. Afterwards we were looking for a restaurant and we immediately noticed “The Greek”. So we went in and were immediately overwhelmed by the ambience. Almost all of the walls are painted by yourself, something you rarely see. We would obviously be served by the boss, who was very polite and relaxed! Super nice service great team. You also notice the harmony between your work colleagues, really great. In terms of food, there's nothing like the other restaurants, the food is from another planet Super tasty, I've rarely eaten at a Greek restaurant that tastes so good. All in all a top restaurant with good service, great food very clean toilets. We'd love to come back 5/5"

We stayed in Königstein on the campsite in mid-August and were 2x food at the Greeks. The food was very good and also large portions. We had Gyros, Gyros and Suflaki and Bifteki. The supplemental salad was also good. View menu

November 2024 Not a classic Greek, a bit unusual from the name of the restaurant to the dishes. Price-performance didn't convince us either. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

It is convenient to take a walk (and after a long search for a parking lot, you can enjoy the snack offer here in an excellent hospitality. Interchangeable panoramic views of the DB contribute to the well-being as well as the descent to the quiet place past the open beverage chamber. With a road-fitting appearance, the operation has been brightened, challenging to appoint the green embroidery logo on the dark blue polo shirt, as well as the herbs on the gyro maker (have other guests take this for the photo? At least the onions seem very inexpensive at the moment and like to serve in comparison to the well-paid olives that are probably not currently available in this price segment.

"Hubby and I decided to revisit the restaurant for lunch after our original visit in the summer. The restaurant is styled like a safari lodge and overlooks the zebras, antelope and gnu enclosure, which is pretty neat. The place serves steakhouse fare, pretty much in line with what you would expect from a good steakhouse in the US. Along with that, they have a cheeseburger, a pasta dish, a chicken dish, a crab cake appetizer, and a selection of salads on the menu. Hubby ordered the burger which comes with fries and I ordered the crab cakes with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger was good, my sweet potato fries were great, the crab cakes not so much. Now, I didn't expect Maryland style crab cakes, nevertheless when you're paying €16.90 for three marble sized crab cakes, peas should play no role in the list of ingredients. Neither should broccoli. I had the feeling that the kitchen used whatever leftover vegetables they had handy in the making of these crab cakes. However, I ate them and basically noted to myself not to ever order them again should we return, when the waitress came to clear the table and asked us how everything had been. Foolish little me actually had the temerity to tell her that I had not liked the crab cakes. I had them during our previous visit and their composition had not included peas. Big mistake! She disdainfully lectured me that the chef always makes them that way and I was definitely mistaken and rushes off with a sneer on her face never to come near our table again. Granted, I would be hard pressed to come up even with a list of ingredients from last night's dinner, but peas in crab cakes is just so odd it imprints itself on the brain. However, not even the point. She could have just politely acknowledged my complaint and no harm done. When we spend €60 for lunch, along with the food, we expect a certain level of service and that doesn't include having a waitress starting with us. We will not return."
