Dew Pond - Menu

Completely and utterly loved the whole evening! Atmosphere was amazing and the food... Exquisite. One hundred percent would recommend! All in all such a lovely restaurant.

Fantastic experience at The Dew Pond! Beautiful food (cheese soufflé and beef, very much winners), excellent ambience, lovely selection of wine and all very reasonably priced. Very warm welcome from the owners and felt very looked after throughout. Looking forward to my next visit highly recommend.

Lovely evening celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We sat outside with a drink in a pleasant seating area with very nice views whilst browsing the menu. Needless to say our choices of starters, mains and dessert were absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented. We will definitely be going again! View menu

Wow!!! Came here with a group and they had provided a set menu for us. The food was absolutely superb, honestly I could not give you a negative comment about any of it. Pear Salad to start, duck for main and a chocolate dessert. Everyone in our group commented on how fantastic it was. Could not fault the service 10/10

The Dew Pond never fails to impress. I really must visit more often. Delicious starter and main course for £36. Fine dining at its best. Discrete, efficient waitresses For a mid week evening the restaurant was almost full which shouldn’t have surprised us. Compliments to the chef. From the pre- dinner drinks on the decking, taking in the beautiful views, to the second to none service and food. A very beautiful building in the countryside. The intimacy of the small, beautifully decorated interior rooms made it feel very homely. The table was very well presented with a crisp white table cloth and fresh flowers. The menu was small, but with a good variety of dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Well cooked and very tasty. Service was impeccable, professional and friendly.

We had a birthday lunch for 19 people of very different ages here recently and it was faultless. We had a private dining room with access to a terrace and garden. Everyone had chosen their three course meal from the menu beforehand so the service was very smooth. There is an excellent wine list with a wide range of prices. The food is seasonal and often locally- sourced apart from the fish which is often Cornish as is the chef patron. Highly recommended.

My first visit and sure it will not be the last. Dined with friend who has enjoyed meals here for many years. Seems that a consistent high standard is maintained, as can be seen from other reviews. Food was delicious, served by staff who really know their stuff no dashing back to chef to answer queries! Menu is not extensive, which is generally a good sign as here, with favourite dishes regularly on the menu such as the twice baked cheese souffle and duck breast and confit leg highly recommended. Definitely a good idea to book in good time as deservedly very popular. View menu
