"I had a fantastic chicken burger and chips along with a pint. The place was quite busy, and I ended up sharing a table, but that didn’t bother me—it’s a great spot for a quick lunch. The chicken burger was delicious, especially for just £5 during the weekday lunch hour, which made it even better. The chips were average, but I would definitely recommend trying the Dirty Bird. It’s a perfect place for a midday snack—quick and convenient. I got a huge chicken burger, chips, and a pint for just £14. However, I noticed they automatically added service to the bill, which I think is a bit sneaky. Gratuities should be left to the customer's discretion, not imposed by the restaurant. Just a thought!"

This is a sympathetic alternative to the numerous Chickenburg restaurants such as Nandos or others. The location is not too bad, as it is quite close to...

Probably one of the best chicken burgers I've eaten. Make sure to add some bacon to make it extra special! Sweet potato fries Mac Cheese also really good. Quick service and reasonable prices.

Burgers were great tasting, love the fillings, mac and cheese was indulgently cheesy! Fries came with legit Lebanese style garlic sauce. Friendly staff, nice casual atmosphere. Get the apple pie.!

A fan of the brand. We ate a dirty burger and chicken wings. The burgers was slightly pink in side just how I like it and the wings nice crisp skin all for a tenner. There's a fair rang of beers and other drinks. It's a great place for a quick and filling bite, or a casual date out and about.

We trekked for 30 minutes and freaked out for a minute when we saw a... Nandos! Luckily we soldiered on for another ten feet and found what we came for. Superior to their ubiquitous corporate neighbour in every conceivable way. The whole rotisserie bird was succulent and the crinkle fries were exactly as we requested crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with no added salt. Surprisingly few restaurants get such simple requests right; but Chicken Shop was faultless.

my sister and I visited this restaurant for a quick meal, but we had not expected to experience such a fantastic and attentive service. our waterglasses were often filled up, everything was clean and the decoration was rustic and quirky. Regarding eating, wow. it was delicious! especially the chicken burger. I really can't explain how much we loved our meals. we also bought at the end of dessert. the brownie was super damp, freshly baked and perfect with the cool vanilla ice cream.

"The large rotisserie chicken from the chicken shop is, as always, more satisfying than the water-injected chicken found at other grill places. The meal was served quickly, though the mac and cheese could benefit from a thicker, creamier texture; at times, it seemed a bit overcooked and resembled something from a school cafeteria. Nevertheless, it was delicious overall. The sauces that came with the meal were tasty, and the cocktails were impressively strong! I will definitely be returning."

My sister and I stopped by this restaurant for a quick meal, but we were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic and attentive service. Our water glasses were consistently refilled, everything was spotless, and the decor had a charming rustic and quirky vibe. As for the food—wow! It was delicious, particularly the chicken burger. I can't emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our meals. We also saved room for dessert and ordered the brownie, which was incredibly moist, freshly baked, and paired perfectly with the cool vanilla ice cream.
