"We visited Domkes Fischpavillon our second night in Heringsdorf, and we went back every night. It was fast, tasty, striking and with the German sail music and sound effects the ambiance was very pleasant. Domkes serves all kinds of dishes combined with local and regional fish, so the menu is great and seems to change (it is written on a large table). You order at the counter, pay cash (no cards accepted), and not long after that your food is ready. And boy is delicious and fresh. We enjoyed the ginger pumpkin soup with a spit of shrimp (included) as an appetizer, then the halibut and butterfish had an evening, and the Captain 's Platter and the pasta with salmon and cream sauce another. Our third night (we loved it there) we had both spaghetti and shrimp, with two different types of sauce. The atmosphere at Domkes is fun, with lobster and fish serving plates, nets and buoys throughout, and a Wharf type decor. A souvenir cantile is in the restaurant, with delicacies, liqueurs, spices, etc. The architecture of the building itself is fascinating, was it an old fishing hall or market? The counter-holder we spoke with could not say. It is beautiful yet a beautiful blanket! Too bad we are no longer staying in Seebad Heringsdorf, or we could try more fresh fish dishes because we would probably return every night. Domkes is also in Ahlbeck and Bansin on Schmusedom Island. After working in the restaurant business for a lot of my life, it's easy for me to see that Domke really knows what he does! His concept and marketing are just as good as eating."

Restaurant mit Selbstbedienung, Lautstärke und Flair wie im Bahnhof. Kartoffeln hart, Fischsuppe schmeckte chemisch und der Fisch kam uns vor wie TK!

A really great store with a very special atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and had good to do. A great selection of fish dishes and what we ate was really super tasty. Here, fish eat really pleasure. I can recommend the fish restaurant 100%.

Warm funny atmosphere with deco on the wall, e.g. Eel traps and pictures of Usedom. Fresh fish was nicely presented and yummy, especially with their homemade salts. The plates and the buzzers were cool, the buzzers were lobsters and the plates had a porcelain lobster on the edge. Self-service, cash only.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, der Fisch frisch zubereitet. Da gibt es gar nichts auszusetzen. Die Atmosphäre hingegen entspricht eher der einer Bahnhofshalle (das erkennt man aber sofort beim Reingehen und wägt dann ab). Das hauseigene Weißbier ist jedoch auf keinen Fall zu empfehlen- wässriges etwas trifft es am ehesten.

Un format diverso che a Milano spopolerebbe: scegli il pesce che vuoi al banco, abbini il contorno, paghi, cerchi un posto a sedere, aspetti che il granchio (pager) si illumini e buon appetito! Pesce freschissimo del mar Baltico, buon vino bianco sfuso, locale unico nel suo genere. E prezzi da rosticceria. Da non perdere!!!

On our first walk to Heringsdorf we came to this restaurant by chance and also returned. The order's something for the eye. The fish is taken from the counter and freshly prepared. Fresh fish from its own catch for sale in the counter, take-away and food in the self-service store (family operation with several branches on Usedom).
