"It's been far too long. It's a myth that you have more time once you have retired. I am now in my year of retirement and we are busier than ever. That's my excuse for not being to Driftwood in a while. A favourite...cafe which has now had another makeover. It's looking extremely smart. Early enough for a Window Table, ideal for watching the world go by. Swift, friendly service. The Cheese Scones are still the Best in Hampshire! The best in West Sussex are to be found at Common Grounds in Chichester (see separate review). Just the right amount of Cayenne Pepper and really Cheesy. Hayling Seagoon"

Never have I been to a supposedly dog friendly cafe were on full sheet of do's and don'ts was in every eye shot. All staff were on dog patrol. Never never again not a good experience.

We had a lovely toasted sandwiches/panini's/drinks with friends and our dogs. We sat out in the garden pod and as It was a nice sunny day the roof was open which was great. The staff were very friendly taking our order in a timely manor....The food/drinks arrived quickly and was very tasty. Definitely recommend.

This used to be the best cafe in Emsworth. However, last time we went, because of Covid rules, the door was left open, and we were seated at the back by the door to the garden, which was also open. We were frozen. Until we...can sit in warmth and comfort, we shall not visit again, which is a pity, because their food is lovely.

the first time we visited driftwood. very nice, but the staff is a bit excited. they must follow the personal to order and also pay. some tables are in bad positions. our were next to the toilets, although clean they smell. Surprisingly, we have to do it with people who should know better why these people leave the doors open. really, but not acceptable. the owners would think about it without mentioning the customers this problem

We have visited on Mothers' Day , we have enjoyed our lunch. We love coming here after our walks regardless of the weather ! Good choice of food and cakes. We adore the garden and surroundings. Garden always clean and seasonally decorated in a...very stylish and tastefull manner. Staff always wonderful and friendly and they not mind when I ask for my coffee to be made very weak sorry cofee lovers We purchase some vouchers as they were well evaluated by recipients in the past! Well done and thank you to all staff for making our day magical,

I used to love this cafe, and I still stand by that the food is brilliant. However think they may need to work on a few customer service skills. I was asked twice to wait outside in the cold when ordering a takeaway. (Even when...I stated it was cold and did I need to? But was told a blunt yes). The waitress was polite but extremely to the point and made me feel rushed when placing my order. To be honest I think if you’re not sitting down you’re not really that important to them. Disappointed as I have recommended this place in the past to many people.
