"Packed on a Tuesday night, buzzing with good vibes and a great menu. What's the deal with this "funny place" as its name suggests? The answer is simple: a boho look and feel and a menu which is delicious. From the moment you enter the place oozes a relaxing and sophisticated vibe. There is art hanging from the walls, nice music and a decoration which makes you feel at home. The team is polite, joyful and full of good will to guide you through the menu. And there is something for everyone: fish, meat and veggies. We started with a bottle of white wine, a terrine with goat cheese and chives and fish. As main course we tried pata negra and fish filet. Every single dish has a twist-it may be spicy or with a touch of lime. It have references from Latin America or Spain and the Mediterranean. For dessert we tried cheese cake with red fruit sauce and a fondant au chocolat. The wine list is great and you can surely find something to wash down the fully flavoured dishes. A must for those who want a bit of food edge in Aix."

Off the beaten path, but well worth the search. Great little spot, in a back alley. We hadn't made a reservation, but we're lucky to score the last table outside. They have live music on Thursday nights starting at 9:30. The food was excellent and the service very friendly and professional. View menu

We came here twice in one week, not to risk being less happy anywhere else! The small and charming restaurant was so welcoming and accommodating; and the food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully plated. Only wish we had come three times in that week in Aix!!!We saw families with babies, couples, and one shooting by a German TV channel. In other words, all are welcome.

This place was absolutely lovely and the food was so delicious! Had it not been for Google maps I wouldn't have found it... I had to walk through an alley that looked like it led to nowhere. The people were so nice - they explained the whole menu in English. They have a menu for each day, and the dishes had wonderful fresh ingredients and were also creative and plated beautifully. I had a sardine and heirloom tomato salad that was phenomenal. I don't love sardines but I wanted to branch out and I'm glad I did. I also had the duck. It was a lot of food plus a glass of local rose, all for 40 Euros.

My Husband and I enjoyed 2 fantastic lunches in this restaurant. Had we known about it's quality, we would have gone there for every meal while in Aix.It is located in an alley in the old part of the city (which we could not find on any of our local maps). However, if you put some work into finding it, you will be well rewarded with the quality and freshness of the food. Also, be sure to book a reservation for lunch and dinner. It is a favorite with locals and serves very authentic French food which is fresh and well prepared and presented. The owners are extremely attentive and engaging which adds to the atmosphere of this small eclectically furnished restaurant. Prices are very reasonable f... View menu

as the name states: it is quite a funny place! it is located in the city center, in a tiny Street where you would never suspect the restaurant. you walk along and there it is, A very stylish place created by local artists. all the furniture reminds of a stylish industrial atmosphere. The owner himself is there to greet and welcome you. he comes with a big chalkboard which functions as a menu and explains every single dish with a smile! if you're not mind blown by now, The absolutely sensational food will give you the rest! because reminding me of a high-class gastronomical restaurant! The careful because in the evening it is very difficult to get a spot, you absolutely have to book in advanc...

We took the vegetarian plate, made out of several mezze like portions. We had lentils seasoned with rosemary, beetroot with pine nuts, herbes de Provence hummus, balsamic vinegar salad, green tiny gazpacho, a half succulent baked sweet potatoe and a tartine de fromage for the gluten option, which was replaced by a half tomato for the gluten free version (...). I thought it would not be enough because everything was on the same plate but it was a lot. Delicious, subtle, refined and beautiful presentations. The plate wad 16 euros, so 32 euros for two. We took also, a bottle of San Pellegrino (5 euros: expensive) and a carafe of rosé, the fruity one, for 11 euros, very good but not cheap. We di...
