"We didn't know where to eat and, for me, it was a good one. You're not going to eat in a restaurant of 3 forks paying cents, that's clear, we were looking for a place to eat while we were doing time, not being expensive and getting out of the typical fastfood. The very attentive and friendly waiter, the tasty food. We ordered kebab and potatoes are natural, no potatoes from the burgers of the clown or the king."

Very good restaurant for those searching for a vegetarian option or just something a bit less heavy while in Arles.

Dune is really a special place in Arles. It is a small restaurant with the flavours of Orient. The couscous are delicious, the price is fair. The owner and employees are very friendly. Worth to try! View menu

We have been there for a dinner. We have got really tasty north African food, the place is in a quite but cozy street. Price was good, I think not more than 20 euro x person, and the owner was friendly, service was good. Adviced!!

My husband and I went here and the food was super yummy. I recommend the vegetarian dune. The tomatoes and feta are the best I've ever had. The owner is very nice and you can tell he loves his restaurant. It's not touristy which I liked and it was affordable.

A man who sings lustily in the kitchen MUST produce great food, along with a great, friendly atmosphere. The food at Dune bears it out. We thoroughly enjoyed this small side street restaurant, which features Algerian food. Beware: go there hungry as the portions are huge. View menu

It was very good as the nice waiter gave us sweets. Food was Middle Eastern and very fresh. It was good portion size. The toilet is clean and has nice photos and aliens organising trips to the Moon on facebook. The waiter does a good Elvis impersonation with a large fan. To be serious this place is great for lunch especially when you have had enough French food

This is a wonderful, off the grid, restaurant in Arles that is delicious! Try the "Dune" plate - a bunch of tastings of different items. Lamb and chicken, greek salad, hummus, dolmades. So good. The owner is so fun and outgoing. Tell him he looks like Richard Gere and you'll get his Robert Deniro impersonation. I dream about this food. And so very reasonable. 13E and I could not finish my dinner.

"This restaurant is part of a hotel in a very impressive 16th century building. It looks very classy. However, the night we were there, there must have been some serious problems in the kitchen (or maybe it is always like that . We started with a shared plate of charcuterie which took a long time to arrive – how long does it take to arrange the cold meats on a plate? We then waited a very, very long time for our main courses. While waiting, we saw a dispute at another table involving the maître d’ and resulting in plates going back to the kitchen. We had both ordered duck à l’orange which came with Camargue rice. The rice appeared to have been baked in the oven and was so crisp and dry that it resembled a cereal bar. The ‘orange’ was not the usual sauce, but instead was four cubes of orange that appeared to have been scorched on a grill. They added nothing to the dish. It had been suggested that we should share a side of seasonal vegetables. These turned out to be big chunks of boiled potatoes (with rice! , a boiled root vegetable and a couple of dry artichokes. We had interchanges with two servers and the maître d – all were cold and brusque. We lived in France for more than 20 years and appreciate the fact that the French like to take their time with meals, but there is a big difference between leisurely and glacially slow. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, others seem to have had a better experience."
