"My party of four dined at this restaurant on October 16th, 2021, based on the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. We ordered 4 parathas and one Madras chicken curry to try. Unfortunately, the food took 20 minutes to arrive and the parathas were overcooked to the point of being blackened. The chicken in the curry seemed undercooked and appeared to be reheated leftovers with added spices. We paid £24.35 for this disappointing meal and informed the waiter that it was the worst we had ever tasted. The restaurant does not accept credit cards, so we had to transfer the money directly to their account before leaving in extreme dissatisfaction. Overall, I would not recommend this place due to the poor service, unappetizing food, and high price."

Very nice food and reasonable price. King prawn biryani is delicious. Service is great. I regularly order takeaways and has been on point each time

We had a lovely meal from here. Meat sag, chicken tikka masala, pilau rice. All was cooked well and tasted great. We would recommend this restaurant and will order from here again.

The flavors of each dish are distinct. The food is high quality and reasonably priced, with pleasant staff. I was trying out a new place for takeaway, but I plan to come back with my wife to dine in.

I have been to many Indian restaurants while working in London, but this one stood out as the best. The only downside was that they only had Cobra beer, not Kingfisher. I had a chicken vindaloo and the spiciness was perfect.

Since being introduced to this place by friends we have given up on the curry house near us and instead catch the 368 to this one. The food is standard curry house but it's served with care, the atmosphere is friendly and busy, and the staff really welcoming. Prices are fair too.

Another balti that does not disappoint ,I think I should stop praising the food quality and price because I have to ring and reserve a table on Friday night now . I had a prawn balti that was absolutely delicious ,I recommend you try these dishes which would cost lots more in any other east London curry house .once you have tried you will go back for more .

"Very nice, fairly large, decked area outside, with huge umbrellas to guard against the summer sun or more likely the English rain. And there's sometimes tasty BBQ (with nice veggie options cooked separately on foil) on Saturday and Sunday afternoon early evening. Check beforehand. Great views at sunset over the Roding where you can spot the wrecks, or the old barges and try and work out how to cross the river using those two little bridges you can see in the distance. Frequently changing range of cocktails and mocktails, bottled and now draft beers and stout, wines and lovely fruit flavoured ciders to maintain your interest. Veggie friendly and one or two vegan dishes, overflowing onto the plate. Fabulous, moist, German cheesecake with mandarin orange and other fruit, or maybe feast on some Dutch apple tart or one of their other terrific cakes. Pandemic permitting, on Friday and Saturday Nights perhaps on Bank Holiday Mondays you can enjoy their effortlessly cool DJs on the decks or hear some great musicians. Entry is always free and with the DJs bands playing at just the right volume, you can enjoy the music and still chat without shouting. At other times, owner music lover Derrick, plays a tasteful, eclectic choice of classic soul, funk, rare groove, rat pack jazz thru a top of the range in house Bose Sound System. And lastly there's the cocktails. Oh, those cocktails! Will we risk a Mojito, or stick with another Whisky Sour tonight ? Derrick the boss learned his trade mixing cocktails for 12 years in some of Copenhagen's swishest cocktail bars. Now he is in sunny Barking. It's the only bar cafe in town that makes a real effort to impress and accommodate its patrons' food and drink preferences."
