This restaurant knows how to wine and dine its guests! In Switzerland it can be hard to find a place with top service, food and atmosphere… and they have it all! The attention to detail is unimaginable, and the food is to match. It’s a place you must try.

Friendly staff, food is good. Perhaps not plentiful enough compared to the prices on the menu. The waitress forgot us several times (for water and to pay the bill for example). Apart from that, I recommend eating there. The terrace is very pretty and the room is spacious and bright.

Das Restaurant Hotel befindet sich in der Mitte von Begnins und verfügt über ausreichend Parkplätze. Das Äußere von außen ist ansprechend und ist ein ziemlich großes Gebäude. Einmal im Restaurant zur Linken ist es sehr geräumig und schön angelegt. Der Service war herzlich und freundlich, die Speisekarte war typisch für eine solche Einrichtung. Meine Frau hatte den klassischen Filet du Perche, während ich Rognons du Veal hatte. Beide waren sehr lecker und gut präsentiert.Dieser Ort war ein guter Fund.

Un subtil mélange de saveurs pour les fins gourmets. Un cocktail de crevettes relevé par une touche d'orange dont l'amertume fait exploser la délicatesse du fruit de mer en bouche.Du poivre sauvage de Madagascar qui donne au chevreuil un parfum délicat avec une cuisson rosée qui le laisse fondre en bouche.Un service attentionné et professionnel, autant dans l'explication des mets que le choix des vins, gage d'une haute culture culinaire. Grand voyageur mais peu friand de commentaires, je me devais de vous faire partager cette table qui m'a enchantée.

6 of us on a warm summers evening. Laurent Perrier house champagne to get into the mood. Cream of asparagus soup was lovely to start with. Others had rocket salad. Ladies had sea bream to share. Delicious. Gents had tagliatelle with duck ragout (excellent), lobster spaghetti (excellent), rack of lamb (good but not great), filet de boeuf (good), followed by a range of desserts. Good wine list with a budget for all tastes. Very friendly and hospital staff. Very enjoyable meal and will for sure go back to gradually make our way through the menu. Thanks for a great evening. La dernière fois que nous avons été manger dans ce restaurant, il y a fort longtemps, c 'était un restaurant gastronomique. Nous avons découvert en arrivant que ce n 'était plus le cas, le propriétaire ayant changé. C 'est maintenant une cuisine plutôt familiale.Si on fait abstraction de cette déception, la nourriture était bonne, mais le service très variable selon les personnes qui se sont occupées de nous au cours du repas (3 au total), et j 'ai trouvé la salle (dans la partie brasserie) plutôt vieillotte, et qui mériterait d 'être refaite.Le site internet n 'est également pas à jour. Il y est fait mention de la carte automne et chasse , mais lorsque nous y sommes allés, à la mi-décembre,...

Very disappointing experience! I went to eat at Ecu Vaudois this afternoon with my partner and my grandfather. Two police officers welcomed my grandfather later at his home. The hotel manager, who sees the restaurant out of the corner of his eye, called the police suspecting that my companion and I were crooks trying to steal his bank details from an old gentleman. Being mixed race and my boyfriend as well, they didn't think I could be my grandfather's little girl, But rather that we try to cheat him into paying for our meal. After calling the restaurant back for explanations about the nature of their report to the police, they refused to speak to us and did not want to let us speak to manag...

Ich habe 2008 fast 4 Monate in der Auberge verbracht, kurz bevor ich mit meiner Familie in die Schweiz gezogen bin. Der Grund, warum ich hier war, war der herzliche Empfang und für 4 Monate wäre ein modernes Hotel düster gewesen!
