"I had a craving for a good burger and thankfully there is now a great place in Freising to fulfill this wish. Most places use frozen patties that are of a uniform size and shape - not Effe & Gold. The patties are thick and juicy like you would throw on the grill at home. I had the chili cheeser and my now favorite side - sweet potato fries. The fries come with a dipping bowl of spicy curry sauce and the burger lives up to its name with lots of jalapeños. For those who don't eat meat or don't feel like it on that day (like my wife) there are several vegetarian and vegan options. The service was great and the food was excellent. You have to pay for it though. The bill was almost 50€ for two people with drinks and water. Not something you can do everyday but well worth it on those occasions when you do."

I really love the sweet potato friars, but the burger species falls apart. I wish it had a better texture. but a good culinary experience.

Hunger gehabt und hier ein Bodenständigen Burger mit Pommes verputzt. Bedienung war bemüht und freundlich.Saßen im außenbreich bei herrlichem Sonnenschein

You have cravings? Burger? They have all kinds of burgers! Everything you can wish for. More alternative furnishings. Kind of comfy if you are young adult or hipster! Food and Drinks very good...wide selection of everything. Definitely try the sweet potato fries when ordering food!

Das Belüftungsproblem, welches in manchen vorgehenden Kritiken erwähnt wird ist wohl Geschichte. Kein Küchen-Muff im Gastraum, alles sehr angenehm. Der Service war akkurat, freundlich und schnell. Mit einer Umbuchung wurde freundlich und unkompliziert umgegangen. Mein Bürger war sehr lecker, die Süßkartoffelpommes auch. Im Vergleich zu Hans im Glück finde ich es deutlich besser.Ich komme gerne wieder.

Das Essen war gut. Die Bedienung freundlich. Es gibt auch vegetarische Gerichte.Ich finde jedoch die Burger überteuert. Die durchgehenden Öffnungszeiten mit warmer Küche sind ein wirkliches Plus.Ebenso die Lage zur Altstadt.Im Sommer kann man draussen sitzen und dem Roider Jackl Gesellschaft leisten. Die Cocktailkarte ist zwar überschaubar aber manchmal ist weniger mehr und diese sind sehr gut. Mir persönlich ist es drinnen bei ausgebuchtem Restaurant einfach zu laut.

In Freising gibt es für eine so kleine Stadt schon relativ viel und gute Auswahl. Allerdings wird die Gastronomie doch eher von bayerischer und italienischer Küche dominiert. Das Effe&Gold bietet endlich mal etwas ganz Neues- in hippen Ambiente im Vintage Stil. Die Gerichte sind mit 10-15€ für ein Hauptgericht eher mittelpreisig. Dafür sind sie Zutaten frisch und die Portionen angemessen. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich und bietet auch für Vegetarier und Veganer viel Auswahl. Sehr zu empfehlen sind nicht nur die Burger sondern auch die Salate.

das erste mal im Freisinger Burgerladen. Da es der einzige in Freising ist was Neues.....Die Speisekarte bietet viel Auswahl. Bestellt haben wir einmal den Bikini mit Garnelen und einmal Imperator.Der Bikini kam für unseren Gaumen am besten weg. Der Burger war saftig. Der Imperator dagegen war trocken und von der Guacamole hat man nix geschmeckt. Die dazu bestellten Wedges tropften vor Fett und waren labbrig. Die gingen fast ganz zurück. Die größe der Burger na ja....Wir werden so schnell nicht wieder kommen und andere Burgerläden ausprobieren. Vielleicht ist mehr Konkurrenz nötig.35 Euro sind hier definitiv zuviel.
