What a fabulous find this is. Right in the centre of Bath beautiful decor. Staff friendly. Food amazing!!! 5* experience and such good value for money. Only wished we lived closer as we would be in more often! Hope to return.

I was looking for somewhere new to try in Bath and what a find this place was. Food was absolutely first class. Every mouthful was tasty, bursting with flavours and perfectly cooked. Good service, hard working, friendly staff. Will be going back for sure.

The food was excellent and the concept was great. The small sharing plates allowed us to sample a variety of dishes from the menu. We tried 2 fish, 2 meat, 1 vegetable, and 1 dessert, all of which were delicious. We will definitely return when we are in Bath next.

We booked a one-night stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in a fantastic central location when meeting friends. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was great. It was a pleasure talking about restaurants and rugby with the owner. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

This charming little restaurant exudes an intimate atmosphere with beautiful decorations and soft lighting. We have dined at Eight twice now and each time the food has been outstanding, lovely in presentation and delicious in taste. The staff, while unobtrusive, are also very attentive and efficient. We frequent Bath often and are eagerly looking forward to our next visit to Eight.

We had a wonderful stay at Eight last night. We ate in the restaurant and the food was incredible. We choose the sea bass risotto and some vegetarian plates to share. Everything was delicious especially the goats cheese ravioli which was the best pasta dish we have ever tried. The ambiance was perfect and the restaurant had a very welcoming, homely feel. The service was also first class! Thanks for making it such a special night for us we will definitely return !

If you’re looking for somewhere with style, elegance and a really relaxed vibe head to Eight. The best description I can come up with is “small plate” “Tapas” style without being Spanish it was AMAZING. We had 3 plates between us, we both thought we’d need to order more when they arrived, but we were wrong. We left feeling very satisfied! The presentation was superb, service was relaxed and very attentive. The surroundings are beautiful and well thought out. Best place we ate at in Bath!

Fast, efficient and pleasant greeting. The waitress, Natalie, has bottomless gastronomy knowledge, is friendly kind plus culturally aware. She had no problem relocating my partner and I to a difference table and cracked many jokes. The food compliments the environment. Together, we individually ordered the rabbit and sirloin with the hake to share. The hake was well cooked, steak soft enough to easily chew but hard so it does not disintegrate and the rabbit shows the chef is experienced. Each dish was well paired with sauces. Several friends had recommended Eight and so glad we came. Let’s start with the food concept. It’s “small plates” but bigger then tapas. 4 of us shared 8 dishes which was about right. Great selection of seafood, meat and vegetarian and we weren’t disappointed with any of our choices. We also had deserts which were very good and a cheese board that my daughter and her boyfriend shared. Wine selection is good and reasonably priced and we also had a drink in the small lounge before dinner. We are downstairs which is the 500 year old refectory from the Abbey and had a good atmosphere.
