While staying in Malaga during the summer holiday period, we decided to explore the nearby Playa las Acacias for dinner. The beach, which is appr. 5 kilometres east of Malaga, is known for its seafood restaurants. When we arrived after a short taxi ride, we discovered that many restaurants were packed. Walking along the beach, we found restautant El Caleño. We had a very good dinner with fried shrimp tortillitas, Russian salad, fried seafood mix and grilled grouper). Restaurants here are a bit more expensive than in Malaga, but the vicinity to the sea and the availability of fresh seafood makes up for that.

RECOMENDABLE 200%!!!Estuve una semana de vacaciones en Malaga, fuimos un dia ppr comernos una paella y volvimos los dos dias siguientes y porque ya nos volviamos a madrid si no hubiesemos comido mas veces...muy bien situado en pleno paseo marítimo. El pescado y el arroz una pasada..fresco y delicioso. La atención recibida por los camareros de 10..atentos, rápidos y siempre pendientes de que no faltase nada e interesándose por la confortabililidad del cliente... Obviamente volveré a Málaga....y OBVIAMENTE volveré a este restaurante.... Nombraria a todos los chicos que nos atendieron pero solo me acuerdo del nombre de uno...no sé porqué...VOLVERE!!!!
