"Arriving at our German hotel after a long day of traveling, we asked the receptionist for a good place to eat in the immediate neighborhood. She directed us to the Elisabeth. Upon arriving, we received a very friendly greeting. We each had a house-brewed beer-- very good. The two in our party who ordered soup were very pleased-- a pumpkin and an apple celery. Three in our group ordered salads and they were creative, beautifully made and delicious. I noticed that the restaurant's owner was eating rouladen when we came in but it wasn't on the menu. I asked the waitress about this and she said that she would see what she could do. Yes, I could have it, and it was delicious. We also had an opportunity to speak with both our waitress and the owner about Marburg and they gave us some good tips and information. Good food, friendly people and info about a town-- a good experience for us all."

The very individual flats are good value, the beer is brilliant, and do not miss Jaegerschnitzel - occassionally very busy

We wer e told the beer here was really good but were disappointed that they had no stock of their dark beer. The service was extremely slow

Good one! Going and experiencing is the motto here! The brewery is very cozy, the beer tastes and you can smoke there. But no panic, there is also a non-smoking area at the top. Have fun.

Stopped in for a beer while in Marburg this month. The beer was wonderful and the owners were very friendly. We stayed past closing time as they were setting up for breakfast the next day, but they did not rush us out at all. Very highly recommended. Can't wait to get back. View menu

Great restaurant, centrally located on the Elisabethkirche, with very good homemade beer. The food is also highly recommended. The services are friendly and attentive. The ambience especially in the renovated vault cellar, which unfortunately is also the smoker area, is very beautiful.

We stayed here as a family of five. The owners were friendly, we had no problems getting into the apartment, and it was nice and spacious. It was not a separate room for all of us so everyone slept in the same area but there were two beds and then a kitchenette and plenty of lounging space like a living room also. I would definitely stay again. The view outside the window was gorgeous and it was nice ending our evening with the beer downstairs.

Delicious beer, good food (former German cuisine, which does not consist of carvings, carvings or carvings), unfortunately the service was not very attentive, the drinks have come with those of the neighboring table (all cannot happen badly), but then, although we have left quite decent enough money there, not very friendly to us, although we were and have not tasted because of the drink. We give Elisabethbräu a second chance at the next visit to my brother-in-law... View menu

When I studied in Marburg, I was often with Elisabeth Bräu Gast. The pub has a very good atmosphere and is simply super central. You are located at the foot of the Oberstadt and in 2 minutes in the Elisabethkirche. The operation here is always very courteous and friendly. The menu is also very diverse and harmonious. The food itself is tasty and not overpriced at all. But the highlight is the self-tanning beer you get here. It just tastes stunning and you just get it here. So simply recommended for tourists and Marburgers.

An absolute plus point of Elisabeth Bräu is the self-fried beer that tastes really delicious. The restaurant itself is centrally located opposite the church of Elisabet. I was there twice, but both were very happy. The restaurant is located on two levels (smoking and non-smoking) and is really nice and cozy. On the lower floor, where smoke is allowed, is a vaulted cellar that contributes to the cozy atmosphere. Overall, it is more rustic, i.e. rustic. If you want to go to dinner, you should look for something else. The selection is or was very limited.
