"Always a family favourite, Florios consistently delivers every time we visit. This week was once again a delicious experience. The ambience, efficiency, knowledge, variety and extra effort made to ensure our dining experience was a masterclass and all for a very reasonable cost. The extensive Gluten free options and options offered to consider allergies are consistently improving. Florios obviously listen to their customers and communicate well within their team. This is a wonderful casual atmospheric destination and must not be missed when visiting Malton.. The food capital of Yorkshire starts here! We will be back soon."

Amazing! This authentic Italian restaurant serves delicious pizza in a lively family-friendly setting. During our visit to Malton, we were fortunate to receive a recommendation to make a reservation in advance over the phone. View menu

Called here with family, usual Italian fare, portions are huge, the lasagne was a bit claggy but family memkbers reported there pizzas excellent. The Minestrone soup was different and came in a bowl like we keep fruit in at home

Firstly you need to book as this restaurant is very busy which is not surprising as the food is wonderful. Lobster ravioli and sbirraglia were fabulous, but the pizzas looked fantastic, and you need to bring a very large appetite for the calzone. Lovely staff, rapid service, great menu choices. It's just a great place to eat in Malton. View menu

Another brilliant meal! Many thanks to you all ! The food here is consistent and excellently presented by very a competent and pleasant team of employees. Florios has an excellent menu catering for all tastes. The restaurant owner and staff have a great knowledge of dietary problems and provide supportive advice to their customers. Florios has become one of our favourite restaurants but be aware it is very popular and you are well advised to reserve your table to avoid disappointment. Merry Christmas to you all!

On a busy Tuesday evening in October, my family of four decided to try this restaurant as walk-ins. Despite being full, they were able to accommodate us with friendly and efficient service. The food was excellent, made fresh right before our eyes in the open kitchen. The pizzas were a standout, with a delicious thin crispy base and generous toppings that weren't greasy. We also enjoyed a hearty mushroom risotto and a special ravioli dish made with saffron pasta and a sage butter sauce. This restaurant offers a nice alternative to the traditional Yorkshire fare when dining in Malton.

"The problem began with our arrival. We are 3 adults in our mid-60s and we had already climbed one set of steps to access the bar in the pub. We were escorted to our room up two more flights of narrow stairs. On entering our room, we could smell the damp in the room and discovered mould on walls behind furniture and in the corners of the window frames. We checked the prices of the evening meals on offer and there wasn't enough variety for our party and they were quite expensive. So we decided to eat out. I asked what time the pub closed and was told, when the last customer leaves. I thought that was a bit vague so I said that we would be back at 10-ish. We arrived back just after 10pm to find all entrances to the pub were fully locked up and we were unable to get in. I called the pub and, after a while, my call went to voicemail with a message that there was no one to answer my call. I left a voicemail, this was followed by another message to say that there was no one to respond to my voicemail! My party had got back into the car as it was raining and I drove to the front of the pub and sounded my horn for some time then drove to the back of the pub. At this point, a man appeared saying he had a message to come and let us in so, finally, we got in to the pub to access our room. We had an uncomfortable night but managed to get up for the early breakfast (great breakfast! and check-out. We raised all the damp and mould issues with the man who had let us in and, as one of us was asthmatic, told him that we would be leaving a poor review of the room and that they shouldn't book that room out to any one else until the issues were resolved."
