"Das Focaccino ist ein echter Geheimtipp am Stuttgarter Platz. Es gibt eine wöchentlich wechselnde Karte mit den Empfehlungen der Woche und eine "Dauerkarte". Von den sizilianischen Spezialitäten, die es dauerhaft gibt, ist die Antipasti-Misto-Platte herausragend. Die Platte für 2 Personen hat bei uns - da wir noch Hauptgerichte essen wollten - locker für 4 Personen ausgereicht. Gegrillte Calamari, Caponata (super lecker), Vitello Tonnato, Rinder Carpaccio und Octopussalat. Wir waren begeistert - schon beim Schreiben bekomme ich Lust wieder einen Tisch zu reservieren. Auch dir Hauptgänge waren ganz hervorragend. Sowohl das frisch geklopfte Kalbsschnitzel mit frischen Pfifferlingen und auch das Entrcote sowie auch die Pasta waren erstklassig. Von den Pastagerichten möchte ich die Pasta con le Sarde mit Sultaninen und Sardellen herausheben - das war wirklich ein Gedicht. Das Lokal ist stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Der Patron geht individuell auf die Wünsche seiner Gäste ein und sorgt hier mit seiner Gastfreundschaft und mit trockenem Humor eine echt sizilianische Atmosphäre. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder. Wir hatten übrigens den Hauswein, dieser hat uns geschmeckt und ist ausgesprochen fair bepreist. Eine Reservierung ist zu empfehlen."

Food was excellent as was the wine. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Will come again and if you like real Italian food I highly recommend this restaurant. Would reserve upfront to be sure of a table as it can get rather busy.

Lange nach einen wirklichen guten Italiener in Berlin gesucht und endlich gefunden. Schon gleich bei der Reservierung am Telefon hat man sich auf den Besuch gefreut. Die Vorspeisenplatte für 2, einfach ein Gedicht. Alles was das Herz braucht, und der Hauptgang auch sehr üppig und natürlich sehr lecker!Hier stimmt einfach Preis Leistung.Der Service, und vor allem der Chef sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Auf jeden Fall nicht der letzte Besuch!

Although I screwed up on my reservation with Focaccino and showed up at the wrong time with our party, they were extremely accommodating found us a table. This is an incredible restaurant. We had the octopus salad which was prepared with radicchio my...husband had the beef carpaccio with chanterelle mushrooms which was very creative delicious. Entrees were also extremely well prepared wonderful, one of which was the special pasta dish with eggplant pesto, burrato almonds as well as the beef ragout. To accompany this exquisite meal we had the perfect bottle of primitivo. Our waitress Annika was extremely engaging throughout the meal. Overall a perfect dining experience
