"We had their delicious Welsh cakes with lots of butter English breakfast tea. Both were perfect. Lady at the counter was very friendly and sweet with her suggestions and offered to fill our water bottles for free. It's very close to the Castle so do check it out specially for the cakes and tea. No welcome on arrival. Chose ploughman's salad for lunch, generous amount of meat and cheese but very meager portion of salad and less than a dessertspoon of coleslaw!! We walked past this cafe and thought it would be an excellent choice for a drink and sandwich. The actual quality of the food was very average and nothing special. Therefore I was expecting average prices. My mistake for not thoroughly checking the menu prices. The cost of the drinks and food was totally overpriced and I will check out other cafes in future.

We went there to get something to drink and have some light food, as we were in a hurry to complete our journey before the nightfall. We 've ordered soup and waited half an hour for it! When I asked when is it going to be ready, I was told soon . When I asked how long is soon i got a reply that it is soon in a very ignoring and rude way. We left the place hungry, even though we paid for the food that never came. We just couldn 't wait another hour for the soup to come. Please avoid at all cost....
