"looks like a great pub. Eating looked good what I saw coming out of the kitchen, but it didn't eat here when we just got through in the middle of the afternoon. beer on hahn are a little limited, especially lagers and a few of the beavertown (i think? ales. eating seems cheap although certainly not cheap. drinking were too expensive. tease oil and the apple juice of my daughter came to £9. I guess the juice was a few quid, so the beer must have been £7, which is a little in my book. either that or that were some pricy apples! Up-market clients. beautiful beer garden. clean and fashionable decor. if you don't mind paying anything about the quotes for your beer, and you're in the opposite, I'd say it's a decent place to awaken your pfeife."

Sam and David helped us plan a lovely wake for my father, they were very helpful and the food was really good, and plenty of it. We had lots of comments from the guests about how lovely it was.

Good food, friendly staff, lovely location. Reasonably priced 3 courses with a couple of drinks £50 each. Nice outside space, but weather abysmal so never got to use it. Parking not great, beware of permit parking area outside.

When we arrived we were seated outside. However, on the next table was a particularly obnoxious customer how was being extremely difficult with the waitress. She handle the situation very professionally later apologised to us over the person’s behaviour. Excellent service, great Sunday lunch.

Couldn't have picked a better place to host our Christmas get-together with friends. We were a table of 16 for dinner and drinks, not an easy task but all the food was awesome and the service was great. Everyone was happy and great communication from the pub in the days leading up to the booking which helped me as the orgniasor especially as I was abroad. Thanks so much guys, we had a great experience and a wonderful evening

really nice pub, we took our 3 children, 2 little ones a big one and loved it. I wanted to spend the afternoon there, but everyone with small children knows that this is not possible. eating was excellent and a good portion size. great selection of drinks that the ladies. my man likes ale and they had only one way to the time, so he was a little disappointed. otherwise, great atmosphere, good eating, great service and nice drinks. I want to be here now.

I have not left a review for this pub for a few years, so it is worth telling me again what I love this pub, my favorite pub in loughton. love what they did with the garden and how they managed the last restrictions. always something they can like to the customer. recently I visited an event night that was one of the best nights I had for so long. this pub has great but quirky at the same time, they know how to have fun. the personal works hard to provide a great service and eating is amazing. they offer a good vegan menu. total 10 stars!
