"we are part of an ef tour and had our tasty here. another group just finished, so we were on the line when they left. the restaurant was not especially full, but I am not sure what its normal Thursday night is or should be. we have many grown ups in our family group, so we quickly ordered our drinks for adults. the service was good here and so far the best of the group dinner. of course we all had to try some of the 7 local beers. the evening meal was in order. not especially Bavarian or German, but ok. tonight we actually had a nice little salad that was very appreciated. I'm not sure why others don't serve a nice place, so this was a pleasure. my gluten-free spouse even got a very good food, which was very appreciated. we will return one day after a few minutes and look over to see what we missed on the regular menu."

took a white beer and a real white carving (cold) and was very satisfied with both. the place is quite cozy for a pub (brasserie) and the service was nice and friendly. recommended!

great place to dinner, the service is very good, the menu offers a great choice and the price-performance ratio is also really good. I can recommend this for dinner with friends or with colleagues.

brasserie in the neighbourhood with very good eating, inviting atmosphere, nice staff and excellent beer (duh). the extensive menu is also available in English. the vegetarian loaded ofenkartoffel with accompanying mixed salat was good enough to ensure a counter visit at my next trip to Munich. tram line 15 to rainy place or a few minutes walk from the rosenheimerplatz. with a beautiful Bavarian standard menu in a quiet, civilized dining room, the Frenchman meets all the criteria if they want to enjoy a non-tourist evening. excellent service, wonderful Italian hot chocolate drinks (ok, this is not so Bavarian) and an attractive escaping area in front of this elegant, solid building. less than 10 minutes walk from the motel one German museum.

this was our first time in Germany and our first time that we tried German food, and we were brought to this restaurant by a native. we ordered 3 special pork dishes of the day, white carving and Norwegian salmon. everything was good, but the potato dumplings (with plastic taste) and the pork special that had much too much fat and little meat. we also ordered the Bavarian pulpits that were cold and hard. I wouldn't come back.

this is the place where they receive their traditional German lunch snack or their early lunch. white sausage is perhaps and purchased taste (they are served floating in a metal bowl with hot water). but there are delicious white sausages with delicate crumbling and a light lemon flavor. the sprouts with which they are served are also excellent. the bier selection is large Bavarian, with the best pauliner darkwhite - excellent. Truth be told I suffer from the lack of good Bavarian cooking in the US. So I have to make up for that when I am in Bavaria. At a recent visit to my former home town of Munich a friend took me to the...Franziskaner in der Au and I was delighted. Especially the Tartar vom Ochsen was a delight, I would rate it as one of the best, if not the best I ever had. Excellent service e Franziskaner beer and Gin distilled in Munich made it a very enjoyable experience. Why go anywhere else? I am certain to be back

I had eaten French for weeks and was looking forward to a good carving. the big day finally came. I was preparing to take a little bit of breakfast to me and let it go lunch. the “VIENER ART” by franziskanner in the au I had in sight. disappointment! the giant carving had an inconspicuous size, not “Riesen” (my companion, who always lets the half of her teller stand, even her frying) pee out under a train tip of pommes (if I wanted to eat so many pommes, I would go to mcdonalds), served in an art paella dish. no crispy at all and no taste. someone had pity and gave us some ketchup. bad price-performance ratio for 13.40 €. otherwise good service and excellent beer.

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
