"We came here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was nearly full, but the staff were friendly and attentive. It has a nice selection of wines by the glass we started with a Swiss Sauvignon Blanc and then a Pinot Noir. The gourmet...menu was a bit too meaty for us, so we ordered off the a la carte menu. A lamb's lettuce salad with fried goat cheese and yellow beetroot was very good, while a potato puree with oxtail ragout and red wine sauce was as expected. We chose main courses of fish with a spelt risotto and leeks, and gnocchi with kale and carrots cooked in a creamy/ buttery sauce. Everything was very tasty (especially the spelt risotto with blanched leeks), and the bread was crusty and plentiful. Finished off with cheese and an ice cream dessert, both of which were good (my husband said the ice cream was excellent it had whipped vanilla cream with papaya stripes and a sweet sauce). Little steamed potatoes with the cheese were surprisingly delicious. Will hopefully come again."

Since many years this restaurant is well known in the region We very here for business dinner. Apero outside with some snacks. Then a salad with local cheese, hazel nuts and raisins As main course local chicken in cream sauce with asparagus from Baden A...trio of creams for dessert Service is professional Wine cellar is well equipped

The food is excellent, as is the ambience. The attention and support used to be excellent, but is now good. There was little question about health. It also bothered the four of us that today we were only allowed to choose the menu from the blackboard and were not allowed to see the menu. All in all, this inn can be highly recommended. We think of coming back.

schönes haus, genügend parkplätze.edle weinflaschen ausgestellt ... bis 18 liter flasche!service: nervös und nicht kundenfreundlich.essen war so la la gut, von den köchen mit den schönen kochhüten hätte ich mehr erwartet. nachschlag hätte es gegeben, wir verzichteten darauf. mach einem guten bierli eine gute spanische weinflasche aus dem priorat.was sehr ärgerlich war: für 0.5 liter hahnenwasser wurde chf 4.00 verlangt. deshalb kein trinkgeld und keine wiederholung.

We were there for a business lunch (lunch), table reserved in advance for 11:45 a.m. It was only after a good half an hour that we were even presented with the menu and the menu, the food came about 1 hour 15 minutes after we sat down, around 1:08 p.m. One of us had to leave again, he had to finish his meal in a hurry. No more time for dessert or coffee. Unfortunately, not everyone has 2-2.5 hours for lunch on a working day. Extremely slow and this wasn't the first time. Wir waren zum 2. mal im Restaurant vom Gasthof Kreuz. Wie immer war die Bedienung sehr freundlich, obwohl unser sehr junger Kellner ab und zu etwas überfordert wirkte. Das Essen ist gut bis sehr gut. Leider wurden wir beim Dessert enttäuscht: das "Quartett vom Patissier" ("eine Auswahl") enthielt Yoghurt mit Fruchten, Glace, 1 Löffel Mousse au Chocolat und ein kleines Stückchen Cake. Dieses Dessert ist falsch beschrieben und für 15 CHF massiv überteuert. Bei mir war es das Hausdessert; auch hier: 3 Dörrzwetschen, 1 Kugel Vanilleglace und 1 Löffel durchschnittliches Mousse au Chocolat für 13 CHF. 50cl Mineralwasser für 7 CHF.
