"We stop often at this Gaststätte on the way back to Munich when using the alternative road to the highway. It’s a very good restaurant offering true Bavarian food in a very clean and neat ambience. Meat is simply exceptional, very likely they use their...own Metzgerei or a local one not far from then. Veal is incredibly tender and the Wiener schnitzel a joy for the palate. Cordon blue cooked to perfection and Spätzle absolutely gorgeous. Prices a bit over average but the quality justify them. Of course beer is great and to note that Spezi served there is made with Afri Cola which gives a even more refreshing taste to the drink. When in Garching stop there and get some good food and refreshing."

they are really attentive and friendly. it is a place I especially recommend for those who go with small children. Eating is excellent, they must try the steak tatar and the game.

had the frying pork to dinner was delicious, but felt hard in the lean more than expected. the restaurant was full and it was hard to get the attention of the waiter. we had a pleasant dinner.

almost filled to the edge, this gasthof was very busy. traditional German dishes (carving and so on) in an ok standard. the waiter needed attention for the guests and no one was left, wait or work without drinks. eating was a bit disappointing. View menu

woody, beer varieties, weine, typical Bavarian cuisine and surprisingly two to three vegetarian options in the main course. spargel in hollaindaise sauce with crimped potatoes, and bag pasta with spinach were both good. a place to go with friends and spend time... about drinks. prost!

In general a good restaurant. They had announced french fries in my dish but they brought Bratkartoffel... which were very good anyway! However, only 4/5 and I am generous because the service brought a bottle to a colleague of mine asking for water and, when...it refused it because it costs 6€ !! , the reaction was angry and not professional. When hosting a large group of many cultures such misunderstandings should be better managed, in my opinion.
