"Last time at El Greco. In Neuwied there is unfortunately little choice for the size of the city. That's why I'm so glad that there's a good Greek. We could sit well with 8 people, the service is very nice, the beverage service could come a bit more regular, but you can also sit quietly. The food was quickly there for the group and was tastefully again very good. The restaurant is nicely decorated, there was a free ouzo at the end. Look forward to my next visit."

"Our annual bike tour to the Ratshotel in Haltern am See was over, in the evening we wanted to pamper ourselves in the Council rooms (this year was no report, it was a pleasant evening as 2020, pictures from the menu uploaded on 26.07.21 at 08:30 as information for curious). We always vary the approach. This time we came to the train in Rheine and drove with the wheels to Hamm. From the main station we went to the Lippe cycle path and we wanted to drive about 60 kilometers to holders at the lake. Shortly before 12 o'clock we had started in Hamm, it was hot and slim and after approx. 30 kilometers we approached the lies and the desire for a break, a big beer and some food came up with my wife and me. In Lünen we have never been, the cycle path leads almost in the middle of the city along the lip. At the level of the pedestrian zone we looked around. We noticed a terrace in a beautiful, semi-concrete house in the old town. When we approached, we saw the name: Irodion, a Greek restaurant. Not exactly what you can imagine under a light lunch. We saw the scepticism of my wife towards Greek cuisine, at most once a year, can be made in the year a corresponding proposal for a return. But outside you could sit well, it was almost 2:00, and you wanted to serve us on request, despite the end of the lunch time at 2:30. So we took place under the umbrellas in the Hochwill shadow. A alcohol-free and alcoholic Krombacher was served ice cold and the cards came to the table. The usual and well-known amount of food was offered. Grilled pig, beef, chicken, turkey and lamb with the known supplements. No food if you want to cycle at 30 degrees to 30 kilometers according to holders. But we joined the appetizers. And a selection of cold meze was almost ordered in tapas style. Kalamata pure olives on the plate, that was pretty nasty. Add a oven warm Pita bread with thyme and softened with olive oil. Another dish came into the middle, cold (extra so ordered) filled wine leaves. Also the taste with the warm bread very good. In the end we had ordered a salad plate. Octopus salad. Tasty paprika and carrots, red onion, parsley with a vinaigrette, with small pieces of tender pulpo. Delicious summer kitchen. A young gentleman and a young lady served the food and drinks friendly and attentive. They did that without criticism. Nice lunch break with a light meal, as hoped. And if hunger is greater, then one is on the safe side with a Greek. Grilled plates and meat mountains served on the side tables are visually equivalent to what you want when you come to a Greek."

"a cozy restaurant with incredibly beautiful and warm owners who give them the feeling to be friends. they really care about their big and small guests, I felt very comfortable. Eating is not exceptional, but it is delicious. the card is not very extensive, but there are many different dishes on the menu, they always find something. the kitchen could be a bit more modern, with Italian waiting for certain dishes, and this is also in good quality here. I give a star to wait until some of us wait long and we had to pay the bill ourselves because we paid separately. but these are small. overall it was a beautiful evening in a beautiful atmosphere and with good eating."

"Wir waren am Wochenende bei einem Volleyballturnier und dachten, wir täten uns was Gutes in dieser Pizzeria essen zu gehen. Damit haben wir uns leider verschätzt…Angefangen hat das Ganze damit, dass wir extra angerufen hatten und für 13 Leute draußen reserviert hatten. Als wir dort ankamen, waren die Plätze besetzt mit Jungs von diesem Turnier und es hieß, die Jungs hätten sich so gemeldet, als kämen sie auch vom Turnier und wären wir. Wir hatten auf einen weiblichen Namen reserviert, das waren nur männliche Personen. Die Jungs waren dann freundlicherweise so nett und sagten, nehmt euch Stühle, schiebt die Tische dran und setzt euch zu uns.Die Toiletten waren absolut nicht sauber. Es gab eine Toilette und da wollte man nicht hingehen. Die Toilette sowie der Raum war absolut dreckig. Toilettenpapier war auch nicht genug vorhanden.Nach mehrfachem Nachfragen am Platz durften wir unsere Bestellung dann in Zeitlupe bei einer sehr überforderten Servicekraft aufgeben. Nach 10 Minuten sind wir uns die Getränke drinnen selber holen gegangen. Die Kühlschränke waren extrem fettig und die Weine/Sekte locker seit einer Woche geöffnet.Während des Wartens auf das Essen kamen mindestens drei Gruppen um ihr Essen zum Mitnehmen mitzunehmen, während wir immer noch warteten.Zwischenzeitlich kam dann eine andere Servicekraft und brachte uns das Besteck. Dieses war auf einem Tablet, wo man sich das selber runternehmen durfte. Zusätzlich gab es fast nur Plastikbesteck und das normale Besteck war oftmals nicht einmal sauber. Für uns ein absolutes No-Go!Nach über einer Stunde kam dann unser Essen. Bei dem Betrieb haben wir dafür schon Verständnis, allerdings nicht dafür, dass so viele Essen vorgeschoben worden sind.Bis dass der Letze das Essen hatte, hatte der Erste schon halb aufgegessen. Wenn man 13 Gäste draußen sitzen hat, kann nicht einer das Essen alleine raus bringen und dabei nur zwei Teller tragen. Während wir das Essen bekamen, sind Aussagen gefallen wie ,,Margarita glaube ich‘‘. Es sind mehrere Essen falsch gewesen, was wir auch gesagt haben. Wir haben das Essen trotzdem genommen, weil wir nicht nochmal länger warten wollten.Das Essen war in Ordnung. Es war sehr wenig gewürzt und kaum Soße. Große Pizzen bekam man in einem Pappkaton.Wir sollten vier mal Pizzabrötchen zu den Nudeln bekommen und hatten fünf mal Pizzabrötchen extra bestellt. Nach mehrfachem Nachfragen als wir die Pizzen schon gegessen hatten, kamen dann doch endlich die vier Portionen Pizzabrötchen, die dabei waren.Als wir aufgegessen hatten, sind wir zügig zum Bezahlen rein gegangen. Dort war es nicht sauber. Der Ofen war schwarz von der Hitze, die Wände ewig nicht mehr abgewaschen. Alles war fettig. Die Pizzen wurden alle nebeneinander und aufeinander geknallt zubereitet.Wir haben alle einzelnd unser Essen bezahlt. Die Preise in der Karte waren nicht korrekt. In der Karte stand, dass eine kleine Pizza 6,50€ kostet und eine mittlere 8€, letztendlich kostet eine kleine Pizza dann doch 8€.Als wir dann erleichtert endlich gehen konnten, lief man uns hinterher, dass wir die Pizzabrötchen nicht bezahlt haben. Wir haben erklärt, dass wir nur vier Stück bekommen haben, die wir auch bezahlt haben. Die Servicekraft meinte daraufhin, sie hätte uns diese doch gebracht. Ich habe daraufhin erklärt, dass wir nur die vier Pizzabrötchen, die dabei waren bekommen haben, aber die fünf, die wir extra bestellt haben, nicht. Dann kam ein anderer Herr raus, der meinte, es wäre in Ordnung. Als wir dann gesagt haben, dass wir ja auch sehr lange gewartet haben, hat man uns dreckig ausgelacht.Diese Pizzeria ist für uns absolut nicht empfehlenswert und wir werden in Zukunft lieber eine andere Pizzeria aufsuchen, zu der wir länger laufen."
