We go here every year for my mums birthday. Service is always fab and the food is gorgeous! 9 of us went last night and it didn’t disappoint! Love this place!

The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and had the time to chat and advise us on local areas to visit. The set menu at £18.50 head for 5 courses was great value for money and plenty to choose from of it. We would recommend this to anyone

We had a wonderful time with our family at this restaurant. The food was delicious with a great variety, and even the picky eaters were happy with their chicken nuggets. The restaurant had a charming traditional Chinese decor and the staff were extremely welcoming.

Could not say a bad thing about this restaurant! Anyone visiting Liverpool should go to kenny and try their food! It’s so tasty but they accommodate any situation! We had 14 ppl there tonight and they made it fun! The girls, Julie and Lindsay (we gave them a non stop night) we’re amazing! Ppl always say the negatives but there weren’t any at all! I don't even know where to start with this review. The food was fantastic, but the hospitality was terrible. Everything from the drinks to the starters to the main courses was a mess. I had to go to the bathroom to calm down. The manager didn't seem to care and accused me of being drunk, even though we waited 70 minutes just for soup. As soon as I took my first bite, they shoved a card reader in my face to pay upfront. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

12 of us visited the golden empire last night. Me and my wife regularly visit here but was the first time for most people with us. We was met by Julie the manager who is a lively person very smiley and happy. 1 of our guests is a vegetarian and including him we all really enjoyed the food and it was good value for money food was all piping hot and delicious. Everyone of us said we would visit again. It was also no problem that she split the bill 5 ways so we didn’t have to work out what everyone owed. Delicious food, fantastic service. Good value for money. Thank you very much for making my wife meal and enjoyable experience. We will 100% be back. And would highly recommend to anyone..

My girlfriend and I had passed golden empire and thought we would give it a go, we walked in and theres was crates of drinks everywhere on chairs tables and the floor just a mess really. we sat down at our table to read a sign that read you must pay before you get your food which is a red flag and it just seemed like they would take payment before they serve you discuting food. We ordered chicken and sweetcorn soup to start which was tasteless and there was no chicken in it at all as well as a grey hair floating in my soup.
