"For our dinner at Grand Coeur, we were called the day of our reservation and were given the option of sitting inside or outside. We chose outside, though I wondered about that choice when we arrived and saw the pretty dining room. We made a great choice, as the courtyard could not have been more charming. Tucked away from he busy-ness of the city streets, the courtyard was tucked in the middle of a building that houses a dance school. There was lovely piano music coming from the school. You could see inside and see the dancers working to learn. It was completely charming. The restaurant staff was lovely and accommodating. One member of our party was not feeling well when we arrived to dinner. They were very nice about us having a glass of wine and waiting over an hour to order food. When we did order, there was a mix-up in the kitchen that led our appetizers to be delayed. They comped our appetizers and offered to buy us another glass of wine though we had not complained about the mistake. The wine list was lovely and had a variety of nice wines by the glass. There are two breads provided with your meal. The first is a beautiful wreath shaped loaf that breaks off into rolls. It was served on a pretty board with really lovely olive oil. When our food arrived another bread arrived too. This was one of the best breads that I ate in Paris. It was whole wheat and just lovely. Our appetizer blew us away. I had the octopus and it was amazing. My husband had the beet salad. Again, such a special blend of flavors. This was a fabulous dining expereince."

The good: nice outdoor terrace, in a classic Marais courtyard away from street noise. The average: service is a bit strained, maybe because it’s hard to find good waiters food is OK, but you can find better quality for a lower price in...Paris

We really had a good time in this restaurant for dinner. Nice atmosphere in this outdoor terrace close to a small theater called Café de la gare. Hopefully it was a nice evening. There is also an inner room that looks nice also. The servers were all very kind to us.

I went to several restaurants while in Paris, however this was my favorite. For an appetizer, I had gazpacho which was the best that I have ever had. For my main, I enjoyed the pork loin, again the best that I have ever had. And finally for dessert, I had a berry tart which was also amazing. The service was great and the outdoor eating setting was awesome.

This restaurant is known for their outdoor terrace, so it's apparently nice to come here for al-fresco dining. Unfortunately, for us it rained and we ate indoors. The food is just fair, nothing special. The service was inconsistent. One waiter never remembered our orders, so we had to ask the other wait-staff and they were more attentive. Would we go back, maybe for the outdoor dining where the noise level would be lowered. The food wasn't bad, but it just wasn't anything special.

We were recommended to try this place by the owner of Le Wood, where we had lunch (amazing). We were so happy we did because it was the best dinner ever!!! Amazing food!!! The appetizers, the entrees, the desserts, all absolutely amazing!!! We were talking about our meals days later. I highly recommend you try Grand Coeur! There was 4 of us, and we all got different dishes, so I'm sure you can't go wrong with ordering. Staff is so nice too! We will definitely be back anytime we are in Paris!

My daughter and I always try to find great new places to eat when we travel. Grand Coeur was just that. Walking distance from Centre George Pompidou, but a little difficult to find. Persevere, it is worth it. The lobster lasagna was a dream, but not inexpensive. That being said, my daughter begged me to go a second time....and ordered it again. The veal chop was fantastique. We loved every dish we ordered from the appetizers (entrees) to the desserts...which we ordered three of both times we ate there. Definitely recommend!!

We ate at Grand Couer on our first night of our first trip to Paris, and it ended up being the best dinner we had in the whole city! My husband had the lamb shoulder with walnuts, dates and black sesame sauce, and he still says that it was the best lamb he has ever had! For my main plate, I had the purple eggplant from Sicily with crispy boulgour, which was equally amazing!! For dessert, we had the black chocolate and praline bar, and the blueberry pie - both of which were simply amazing! The next time we are in Paris, we will absolutely be eating here again - and we will dream of it until then!

For us, one of the loveliest Paris dining rooms we've seen in a while, and very good unfussy service were the only high points (okay, the wine was good, but . Starter portions were very small (especially at €24 each ; two scollops to an order,...and a piece of foie gras so small that at first we thought it had been left off the plate. The main course was a double pork rib chop (at least enough to eat that while cooked properly to a faint rosy doneness, was neither especially tender nor flavorful. We were so demoralized, we skipped dessert. Almost all of the other diners seemed to be non-French speakers, so the overall impression is of a high-end tourist restaurant. For €122 for two courses a...

Apparently the AE card was accepted until 2 months ago and canceled for some reason. The website doesn't mention this, so we were both surprised and disappointed when the card was refused. The Manager was called to the table but when asked if he'd like to accept AE again he simply said quite abruptly "no", which was also a surprise as we would consider the restaurant upper-end and not cheap. Our dinner cost for 6 was 550e which included 3 bottles of wine averaging 70e each. The food was good and ample and as a result we only had one desert between the 6 of us. However we won't be dining there again as there are too many good restaurants in Paris where AE is accepted and I like to pay with my...
