"We choose Grange Farm as a preferred opportunity for our Friday dinner instead of eating locally in the city centre. (Choosing to pay £16 to get you by taxi) Usually we would not have any complaints about the food. My partner ordered the Lamb Shank and for the price of £20 we had the impression that the price-performance ratio did not meet the usual standards of Grange Farm. He had to attack for vegetables because there was hardly anything served with the dish. I went with a traditional gammon and eggs, and I also felt underwhelmed by him (even if it was at least £8 less), as we often had in Greene King Pubs and had better. Needless to say, our waitress Jess was brilliant, bar staff were as attentive as they are usually and how the alcohol flows, the disappointing food does not ruin our night. Perhaps the chef could revise the offer of both dishes!"

For a full review see Trip Advisor. I'm not going to write it all out again but needless to say my Sunday Lunch experience was not great and we won't be going back anytime soon.

Very nice food, but difficult if you are a Fussy eater. Rather expensive for a casual meal, and some of the food was not very hot. Slow delivery to the table especially for a Saturday night. The waitress was helpful and the attitude was very nice.

The food at this restaurant was very good, but it may not be suitable for picky eaters. It was a bit pricey for a casual dining experience, and some dishes were not served hot. The service was slow, especially on a busy Saturday night, but the waitress was helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely.

Having dined at Grange Farm frequently over the past few years , we have found the food varies from excellent to fairly average. This we feel comes with menu change, the last two visits the food being one extreme to the other, however, we will still frequent the establishment because we like the locality and the ambiance and also the staff are always friendly and obliging

I'll take an older friend on the Grange once a month. She goes with a walker and finds access to the restaurant very well. Usually we have a table for two on the ground floor near the disabled toilet, but due to new renovations this was not possible. Your staff apologised and showed us a nice table down in the room. We enjoyed our meals very much (Hunters Chicken, followed by Eton Mess and Coffee). Your staff is excellent and we look forward to our next visit.

Once a month, I take my elderly lady friend out for lunch at The Grange. She uses a walker and finds the restaurant's accessibility to be very good. Typically, we are seated at a table for two on the ground floor near the disabled toilet, but due to recent renovations, this was not possible. The staff apologized and seated us at a nice table further down the room. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal (she had the Hunters Chicken, while I opted for the Eton Mess and coffee). The staff were exceptional, and we are eagerly anticipating our next visit.

We decided to try Grange Farm for our Friday evening meal instead of dining locally in the City Centre, despite the £16 taxi fare. Typically, we have no issues with the food here. However, this time we were disappointed. My partner ordered the Lamb Shank for around £20, but felt it didn't meet Grange Farm's usual standards as there were hardly any vegetables served with it. I opted for the Gammon and Eggs, which was also underwhelming compared to similar dishes we've had at Greene King pubs for a lower price. Thankfully, our waitress Jess was fantastic, the bar staff were attentive, and the flowing alcohol helped make up for the disappointing food. Perhaps the chef should reconsider the offe...
