"Good morning, I have been walking through the door of the Casa del Popolo for over 40 years. I am a bus driver and one evening, having a 45 minute break, I wanted to have dinner, I had to leave because there was no room in the room even though there were all the free tables on the right but they are no longer served for eating only for the bar. Only in your place does it happen to send people away with free tables, and then are you social??? Do you integrate and send away people who want to eat? Socialists, if I had the intention of giving you some votes in the next cantonal elections, IT WOULD NOT BE THE CASE TO GIVE IT TO YOU. I am very disappointed."

"Das Hotel trübte unsere sonst sehr guten Ferien leider erheblich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte einfach nicht. Die Zimmer waren sehr klein und nur unzufriedenstellend eingerichtet. Beispielsweise fehlte ein Kühlschrank oder eine kleine Snackbar. Das grosse Licht im Zimmer blendet wenn man im Bett sitzt. Die Spülung des Wcs hatte ihren eigenen Kopf und die Dusche war schlecht abgedichtet, so dass viel Wasser auslief, selbst bei einer kurzen Dusche. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig und nur unzureichend belüftet. Deshalb muss man mit offenem Fenster schlafen, was nicht so schlimm wäre wenn nicht um 7 Uhr Mitarbeiter des Hotels direkt unter dem Fenster gefühlt hundert Glasflaschen zerschlagen müssten. In einer anderen Nacht wurden wir von rhythmischen Klopfen geweckt. Der Spabereich des Hotels ist sehr spartanisch. Es wird mit dem grossen Spabereich geworben. Erwartet hat uns dann einen kleine Sauna, ein Whirlpool der ausser Betrieb war sowie unsaubere Liegen und ein kleines Salzzimmer. Dafür für Auswärtige 20 Franken zu verlangen ist absolut wahnwitzig. Das Restaurant des Hauses war ok, nicht mehr aber glücklicherweise auch nicht weniger."

"Recommended by a friend, I decide to try it because I want to eat pizza. Location: mahogany brown furnishings, reminiscent of old family trattorias, overall it is harmonious and pleasant. The table linen is minimal but just right. Staff: I was welcomed very well and professionally, which is absolutely appreciated. Fast and efficient service and always available. Menu: varies from sea/land appetizers to first courses, second courses and pizzas. I decide to have a ham and mushrooms. I didn't have time to take a photo because I devoured it. From the absolutely inviting appearance, to the scent of mushrooms, to the tasty taste of cooked ham, the dough leavened for 72 hours and cooked in a wood fire, all this makes a pizza something good and genuine. Top! Medium beer on tap accompanies my choice well. Taken by gluttony, I order a tiramisu... Practically a beast of dessert served in a glass mouthpiece: very good, very light and abundant. Price: average and fair from what I saw from other tables, people take home what they leave because the portions are generous, so for me this is a very positive thing. I will be back to try their cuisine. Well done"

"in the last 50 years have eaten many flaky cakes in Germany and France. this was the best, thinner teig, crispy, and super quality of the ingredients of the bed. great service, friendly and attentive staff. very romantic ambiente in the old town of bellinzona."

"We had an awesome time in this welcoming new little restaurant. Their menu is innovative for Bellinzona, the location is absolutely stunning with the modern/vintage flair definitely New York style! Service was almost outstanding (I guess you know who I am by now, onions forgiven! , and we honestly had a lovely time chatting with the manager. The only negative point would be the bathroom, but then again there is nothing to do about that since the restaurant is built up that way. Quality price ratio was fair and service was fast even though they were full. Well done, for Bellinzona a great find! We will be back soon ; 33!"
