"Knowing that my family and I would be in Abergavenny around lunchtime prior to a walk up Sugar Loaf, I took the rare step of being prepared by looking up a tea shop that served cream teas with clotted cream (any civilised person would of course faint into their jam at the sight of whipped! and didn't close at 2pm (as if everyone's appetite sticks to a schedule . Meeting those requirements alone would have been enough to get a good review, but I was genuinely delighted by The Little Treat. From the moment we walked in, our every need was met. We thought we'd have trouble finding a table as the only one remaining was for 2 people (there were 4 of us , but the lovely gentleman behind the counter asked if we'd like that table and then immediately brought 2 extra chairs over and ensured that we were comfortably sat with menus ordering was prompt and correct. His colleague delivered our food and, when it became clear that there would be a slight delay in my daughter's order, brought over complimentary drinks. The food was excellent neither pretentious nor poor quality. Both our hosts were unfailingly polite, but sincerely so, and genuinely warm. The service alone was worthy of note if all catering establishments were like this then the world would be a happier place but the food left us all satisfied as well. I really look forward to next time we're in Abergavenny so we can visit again."

"Having lived in Turkey for many years it is wonderful to have found somewhere that serves real Turkish food close to home. The staff are all welcoming, caring and wonderful with the children. We have visited for Birthdays and again staff have made the event special. Don't hesitate to treat yourself and pay a visit, you won't be disappointed. Kid-friendliness: Always make a fuss of the children, make sure that they have everything that they need. On a recent visit one child didn't order as they were not hungry then changed their mind, food was prepared quickly for them even though the restaurant was busy."

"I was pleasantly surprised by their excellent breakfast. Excellent artisan coffee to start of with. I had a small breakfast. The mushrooms, tomato seem to come fresh from a local farm. also the bacon and sausage is not of the average tasteless sort. Their brown bread must be from a local baker. Their brown bread is of the wholesome type. Absolutely delicious…."

"Dining at this restaurant offers a unique experience with distinct aromas that set it apart from other Italian establishments we've visited. On our two recent visits, we found it necessary to make a reservation in advance. The restaurant features dining areas on both the ground floor and the first floor, with ramp access available to the ground level. The red wine is full-bodied and reasonably priced. All the dishes come in generous portions; I particularly enjoyed the slow-cooked beef with roasted potatoes, which I highly recommend as a standout dish. The bratkartoffels have a unique twist with Italian crumbles, making them unlike any we've tried before. Every dish we sampled was fantastic. The lemon cheesecake is light, fresh, and wonderfully creamy, with a large portion to enjoy. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant."

"the lunch for us turned out to press a little table. a call to the restaurant by another parade who reduced party size was accepted as our table. Despite our assurances, we had not made such a call, a big...without table was not available, although there was an empty table next to us for the whole meal. no apology was offered. our bill came to a head that, given the squeeze and very limited selection of vegetarian options, did not seem great worth for money. that said eating was delicious and the waiting service was excellent."
