Great location food lovely staff very well presented just perfect. Fabulous felt very welcomed. Couldn't complain about anything.

We came for afternoon tea, 3 adults and a 2yo and the service has been impeccable from start to finish. Guido looked after us throughout, being very professional and efficient. A great welcome when you arrive here,feels like family,staff member Amelia was looking after us,and what a delight she was,so helpful and cheerful she must love her job,it was an afternoon tea we came for,the food was great freshly made,I would recommend it to anyone,we came from Stratford upon avon for the weekend,it was well worth it

Came for afternoon tea with my daughter and really enjoyed the whole experience. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, food was amazing and setting was great. I came with my daughter and Michelle was great, really made an effort to talk to her and make her smile. I came here over a year ago and wonder why I have waited so long to come back. Well done team Gotham!

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea experience. The minute we walked into the hotel we were greeted by staff, the porter sang Happy Birthday to me in the lift on the way to the Honey Restaurant. The staff in the restaurant were so friendly and very courteous. The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel. The food was lovely and the bar upstairs was a nice relaxing place to end our experience. Would definitely recommend it. Absolutely superb !!! View menu

I treated my family to an afternoon tea as a Christmas present. What an incredible experience. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Ali was our waiter and he was simply the best. Extremely welcoming and funny too. He explained how everything works and gave a detailed explanation of the teas. All the food was delicious and the scones in particular were the best I've ever had. The whole afternoon was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better time. Will definitely be back.

Went to the Honey today for afternoon tea …. It was amazing experience in the hearth of Manchester ! Nice and trendy place , calm and relaxed atmosphere! Best staff from reception to the table ! Pete was awesome in the restaurant, real pro , very friendly person, wish I can stay all day long in Honey enjoying my tea and friendliness of the staff!!! He introduced us to the Amelia who is absolute professional and been taking care of us on the top level , explaining every item we ordered, recommended best tea I ever tried! Thank you so much Amelia , you are best ! Thank you so much Pete , you are star ! Definitely will be back to Gotham for a dinner soon !

We had to queue for a while to get in but we had prebooked online on Gotham’s website using a Virgin Gift Experience voucher (and we put the details of this voucher in during booking). We had a booking confirmation from Gotham but the receptionist then said that we needed to bring email confirmation from Virgin on top of the hotel’s booking confirmation (we hadn’t actually been sent one from Virgin so had nothing to show her). The receptionist was dismissive and made us feel really embarrassed in front of all the other people who were queuing.
