Stayed at this hotel based restaurant and enjoyed it immensely, the food was top notch and the ambience brilliant.

No complaints about the food or service and we were a large group having a set menu with only minimal choices but it was only average. Good size portions and well presented but not exciting. View menu

As is always the case in Spain, restaurants do not serve an evening meal before 8.00 pm, so the menu was not too much to eat. We enjoyed the food very much and you can buy just a glass of wine to have with the meal.

Estamos viajando por la provincia de Cáceres, que es maravillosa. El edificio de la Hospedería es antiguo, bien rehabilitado, y el contraste con la decoración, discreta y moderna, es muy agradable. En dos ocasiones hemos comido en el restaurante Torre de Floripes de la Hospedería y hemos quedado muy satisfechos por el servicio y por la calidad y el precio de la comida. Limpio, tranquilo, transmite serenidad. Recomendamos el salmón al vacío, la pluma ibérica y los tacos de choco. Los quesos muy buenos también. El personal es muy amable, atento y obsequioso. I really wanted to stay at this hostelry and we went to spend a night on a sleeping-only basis but in the end we had to hire a menu of the day and breakfast, I have to say that the menu they had that day had little to choose from and nothing special or elaborate The breakfast buffet as in all restaurants, the service in the dining room was very attentive and polite, the pool facilities, as well as the water in it, were not very clean, the brands and bins were full, I don't know if it was because it was Sunday It was not necessary to clean, the room was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning system was wonderful. The rooms we were given did not match the ones that were advertised in the photos when we booked (specifically upgraded ones). We booked two, one didn't have a safe, the other had it but it wasn't working. The rooms in general felt stale and more like a 3*. No coffee maker, paper cups in one room, none in the other. We stayed in a much cheaper 4* the night before which was way better in comparison. The gym only had cardio machines (very, very old ones) with 1 cable rack, no working A/C, and had to be unlocked per request. The staff was friendly but had to work to find them arrived at 2:30 pm and while check in starts at 2, had to wait until 2:50 for the receptionist to show up (we tried ring...

Beautiful building in the center of a town, but unfortunately had the worst experience due to it not being well maintained. Our room had some weird bugs everywhere, there were a few crawling in the bed, on the chairs, tables, on all surfaces and in all corners. Some of them also seemed dead and to have been there for a while. We freaked out and had to shake all of the bags and clothes that we left earlier in the room to remove the bugs, packed and went to the reception. The hotel offered another room they had available and upon inspection it seemed to not have the same problem, however we did find a lot of dust, and spiderwebs in most corners, and it has a weird smell that didn't seem to go...
