"Visited here to celebrate my Neice's 18th birthday. My sister had booked my neices birthday at a retuarant closer to home but due to covid staffing issues was cancelled 6 days before. my sister contacted the Hundred House on the off chance, they invited her...to come and see them and i went with her. Met one of the managers who was so welcoming and friendly and offered a lovely menu choice, so we booked. on day of meal sister recieved phone call to say that they had moved the weal into the Barn, tere was 22 of us. the table was set perfect, so that we could sit togther. decor was beautiful with lovely lights etc which gave the room a lovely special feel. Two young men waitered on us all evening and served us food and ran the bar. the staff were so organised, taking everyones name's and where they were sitting so that they served them with the correct meals there was none of this who's had what etc. Food all served together and with no issues. Food was out of this world, every mouthful was just lovely.. Could'nt believe the standard especially due to being 26 of us. The evening was fantastic and couldn't be improved in anyway. Hoping to visit again in the very near future with my Hubby"

I had much better for less pub grub to fine dining room prices. it was Saturday evening they had a high time, which also meant no parking.

it worked well. they had a high-time reception where I was sure they were busy and they still gave us a nice experience. that was delicious, I just appreciated it all.

It was freezing in there, the doors were wide open and despite asking they stayed open. My chicken was undercooked and the chips were over cooked. The staff weren’t very attentive at all despite it not being busy. Wouldn’t visit again

we've been here a lot since we've been moving into the opposite. eating is exceptional, yes it is not the cheapest, but it is constantly excellent. service as always good! Although they have high times at most camping and parking can be tricky, even though we have found a place! View menu

we enjoyed every dish, but the zitrus entenbrust was an outstanding special. the facility is wonderful fun, the drinks very tasty, with a good selection of beer and apple wines, out, and our waitress, izzy, was happy, friendly and exactly there when we needed them. Yes, we're coming back.

We had not been for several months but always enjoy a meal here took friends along on a Friday evening. Lovely warm inside on a cold winter night. The children all opted for the kids menu which seem to go down well.. whilst the adults enjoyed a selection of starters, with beef lamb dishes as mains. Everybody enjoyed their meal we received very friendly but not intrusive service. Everything as good as we recall.

Went for a Christmas lunch with three business colleagues. Lovely entrance with fire blazing, service was good, food was just okay. The issue came afterwards when I realised I'd left my scarf there on the back of the chair, I called and asked if it...had been found. The gentleman who answered was most dismissive said there was a scarf but it didn't sound like mine so I said I'll pop in and have a look. He then said I'd need to ring beforehand and make an appointment! Then went on to tell me how many weddings they had and how busy they were and basically someone may not be able to look in the lost property. I said what was the best time...there wasn't one really, his attitude was very unhelpf... View menu

Myself and my other half went for dinner for our anniversary earlier this month as this is where we had our first date so it was lovely to return. Being vegan it's always a worry about whether you have a choice of food at any...restaurant or if you will just be fobbed off with a moving mountains' burger not a single worry of this at Hundred House as their menu is so extensive and I had options which is a huge rarity when dining out in Shropshire. The food we had was excellent, full of flavour and cooked to perfection for any fellow vegans I would definitely recommend the cauliflower steak as it was so tasty, trust me! The serving staff were lovely and when asking if we wanted dessert and inf...

I've visited The Hundred House in Norton on many occasions to stay in the hotel and or to have a meal. The most recent was just yesterday for the Valentines menu. This review is for yesterday but every time I have visited The Hundred House...it is consistently just as good. For the Valentines menu we did not staying the hotel but the food was fantastic. The beef wellington could not have been cooked better and the quality of the ingredients was obvious. This was the same throughout the whole meal. I have eaten in many places and in my opinion The Hundred House is one of the, if not the best for great food. The food however is not the only part of what makes this such a great place. The build...

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
