"Update March 2024. Back in Swaffham visiting family, back at Indian Summer for takeaway. Usual Cobra and red wine whilst waiting (part of the delight of the Indian Summer and our reason for not ordering online or by 'phone). The usual superb customer service and of course the superb food. Maybe we should convince them to open a satellite restaurant where we live in the far north of Scotland, we certainly need it. Would happily award more than 5 stars in all respects. Update August 2023. Back visiting family and a trip to get our favourite takeaway. As usual a glass of Cobra and a glass of red wine whilst waiting. The manager and his staff are superb and have first rate customer service skills. You are made to feel to be THE most important people in the restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service, very good pricing and generous portions make a meal from Indian Summer most desirable. No hesitation in recommending FIVE STARS in EVERY respect. See you next time we are down here. Update February 2023. Order placed, shown to a table to enjoy a superb pint of Cobra and a glass (large) of red wine to await our order. Made to feel that we were the most important customers in the restaurant. FIVE STAR SERVICE and when we got back to our relatives a FIVE STAR range of Indian dishes. Absolutely wonderful , how I wish we had a restaurant of this quality where we live in the far north of Scotland. Original comment 2021. Visited the restaurant with family during a stay in Norfolk. The food was great. Reasonably priced. Service was fairly quick but it was a Sunday night quiet. I would deffo return.

Wow. I was parked up on the lorry park, I Always check the reviews. When I walked past it was rammed, so after a visit into the town I later got a takeaway. Can't fault these guy's it was closing time, ButWhat a great meal. Brilliant

Ordered online through the website, service was really good, food was like warm and sub standard. The tikka masala was like red water with chicken in. The biriani was really watery too. When it was dished up all this water started appearing from the food. Not much flavour as the water must have displaced it. Won't be ordering again unfortunately. View menu

Delicious food, friendly staff, definately recommend to anyone. Thanks for a lovely meal, I had chicken madras it was delicious. All 4 of us had a great time an loved the food. Just updating my review myself an 3 others had another meal Saturday eve, and it was delicious the staff so friendly ,food amazing ,great evening thanks again .will come back again When we visit swaffham again .

Stayed in an Airbnb opposite the restaurant for a mini break whilst looking in the area for property to retire to. Went in (on spec no reservation) on a Monday 6:30pm. Other customers were already seated at 3 tables. Staff were polite and friendly. The food was superb, best we’ve eaten in a good many years. The prawn purée was spiced well and the purée bread was light textured. The half tandoori chicken was succulent and the lamb korai had a thick tasty sauce the peshwari naan was light textured and good flavour.
