I ordered a takeaway yesterday, and it was truly disappointing. The rice was overcooked, the chips were subpar, and the vegetable spring rolls were terrible. The chicken in the egg fried rice had a very unusual taste. Overall, I was not satisfied with my meal. For reference, the price per person was £10–20.

Great Chinese, affordable. Only downside is that it is cash only. Nearest cash machine is the coop in Valleyfield which is a long walk up a hill. Parking: Park on the street, be aware of other drivers when getting back in your car as road can be tight with parked cars. Would highly recommend this takeaway, we have been looking for a Chinese that is consistent and always fresh and this is the place to go if you are looking for the same. Small shop but the quality that they produce is unmatched in our local area, would never go to any other Chinese, always come back to the Jade House...friendly staff and as previously stated the food is second to none. Wonderful phone communication, really clear and helpful! Lovely clean and friendly atmosphere in the shop. Delicious food, the BEST Chinese we've ever had. Brilliantly cooked chicken, piping hot with yummy thick sauces. Fantastic Salt Pepper fries, fresh and well seasoned. Generous portion for our starters too, we will have leftovers for tomorrow! Thank you! This will be our new Chinese choice, despite being a little further from our home. This is our local Chinese restaurant and is takeaway only. We phone and collect within 20 minutes, but home delivery is available. They are a cash only buisness and do not accept any form of electronic payment. Should you forget there is an ATM outside the Co-op in High Valleyfield. It is reasonably priced, the food is tasty and we have never recieved an incorrect order. There are a number of good value deals available, which can be seen on their menu.
