"Have visited before and it`s always been fine. This time, though, it was a different picture. Booked a table for 7pm, but when we got there just before 7 there were people standing in the doorway sheltering from the rain. Knowing we had a booking, we squeezed past them, only to be confronted by the `Manager` telling us to stay outside as there were no tables free. When we explained we had a booking for 7pm, he repeated the message that there were no tables free and said we would have to wait outside. Shocked by the situation and realising we were way down his list of people waiting for a table, we left. Sadly can`t comment on the food because we didn`t get to sample any. A really poor way to deal with Customers. Won`t be returning."

We had a lovely meal with family on Sunday. The staff are always very polite and efficient and the food was very fresh and tasty and well presented. It is such good value for money. We always enjoy our visits and look forward to coming back.

A spontaneous midweek take away demanded by someone on our way home through Padiham. Was drawn to the sit in options that offers 2 for 1 on starters and mains Monday to Saturday and a 3 course meal for £9 on a Sunday!! That is better value than a take away!! Take away food was OK and perhaps that sit in temptation will drag us in soon.
