"Prior to my trip out to Hamburg, I thought hamburgers might have originated here! Anyways, though that isn't the case, I am so glad I found Jim Block! I had it bookmarked for a cheap, quick, and pleasing eat. I came here for a very late lunch/early dinner with my boss on a Sunday afternoon. I got the Mushroom and cheeseburger meal, so it came with fries and a drink. I decided on bottled water as opposed to soda. The plate was huge and was about €9. Our orders were served fast. The burger was messy and covered with a lot of mushrooms and the cheese was perfectly melted. They have their own signature sauce put on it and it also came with shredded lettuce. The fries were crisp and I saw many others opted to get a baked potato or side of bread instead. They also have the option for bunless in which you just get served the meat with toppings. Her falafel burger was shaped into a patty and she was very pleased with it. My meal was so big that I couldn't finish it all. There's mostly communal seating at this very busy location. And it's kinda cool to see how fast food is different in Europe, as they use silverware! I would recommend Jim Block for a quick and pleasing meal. They don't have salads but there's something for a beef eater, chicken eater and the veggie eater."
