"Even if I've visitet Japan, I still can't truly say what true Japanese food is or not, but I can say its one or the best sushi in munich. The service is done by japanese people, which is fine for germans, but for japanese people...it will be disapointing, there is a lot of space to improve!!! The Sushi was great, the even offer Otoro Tuna which is very rare to get in germany, because we got the strange habit to think that fatty things could not be good. I enjoyed my Sushi and the Macha desert very much, only the service missed two orders, took very long and was not very japanese even if they where japanese people."

This is has been one of the best sushi I've eaten outside of Japan. The place is cozy and almost secluded. The only pity is that they don't have any space to sit at the bar and see the sushichef work. For food, we went...for nigiris only and some sashimi. In my opinion the nigiris are the best part of the whole experience. Loup de mer was exquisite. The Otoro (fatty tuna) is absolutely delicious too. Can only recommend.

We had a really great set meal at Kaito with the works. Everything was delicious. The only downside to the meal was being told we had to hurry up and leave as they were closing up. It wasn't late, we had only just finished eating,...and it's not something you really expect when you are paying these kind of prices... Having said that, when you probably serve the best Japanese food in Munich, you can probably get away with it...

I was looking for something a little different on my first evening in Munich and had a taste for Japanese food. This is a delightful place out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. Young lady who served me was exceptionally good. The...food was also very well presented and very fresh. I felt however it was overpriced. I had the sushi/sashimi combo with a serving of edamame and some ice cream for dessert. I also had some cold sake and it was over Just come prepared. View menu

With many restaurants boasting they specialize in Sushi or Japanese food, it’s a relief to encounter one that truly does so. Japanese chef and staff, proper ingredients, standard quality menu (not the place for roll inventions , quiet atmosphere: you won’t be disappointed, except that it...comes at a price. Knowing a bit what it takes to build a honest Japanese food offering in Germany, I’d not call it overpriced. Certainly, there are many cheaper pan Asian alternatives serving Zushi to choose from :

when they regularly go to japan, it is easy to disappoint when they go to a Japanese restaurant in europa. kaito is really an exception in this sight. from start to tempura and sushi they enjoy a good quality as in japan. Small...tasting menu was 58 euro and good value for money. they even serve Asahi's draft, which is also at a place of bier crazy as a little bit. could improve on the service. we needed one because to get the bill, as all had a drink at the back restaurant. good to see that japaner can relax in Germany.
