This left a very negative first impression. Our waitress was quite lovely, but it was clear that we were unhappy. She made a noticeable effort to make things right. The mushroom appetizer came out as bruschetta, which was recommended to be hot, yet one of my partner's dishes arrived stone cold while another was lukewarm. When he pointed this out, we were told it was supposed to be served that way—so why was it served on hot plates? After finishing our meal, we left without any intention of returning."

We had a wonderful evening with family friends at this family-friendly restaurant. The food was excellent, and there were plenty of options for vegetarians and diners with lactose intolerance. We will definitely come back again!

My wife and I are big fans of Zizi and often visit their location in Cardiff, but we hadn't been there in a while. We went to celebrate my wife's birthday on February 13, 2020, and since it was around noon, the restaurant was quite quiet. The place was very clean, and the staff were friendly, although at times we felt a bit rushed by them. The food, as always, was excellent. However, I ordered the calzone carne picante, and I found that it was much milder than what I usually expect. Maybe they've changed the recipe since my last visit. It was still delicious, but I was hoping for a bit more heat and spice.
