"Great welcome, romantic tables outside overlooking the historic Baths of Constantine near the Rhone. Not upmarket, not foodie, not trendy just a charming local mediterranean restaurant. The food was delicious, generous and good value. I had a great tuna provencale and my partner had an excellent pizza. The salads are big enough to share as a starter or between 3. Home baked deserts are amazing. Service is attentive and warm. Recommended."

A great time for the Reveillon de la St Sylvestre: a refined and warm menu, MATI MAISON. A quality service and a respected kitchen. Everything in a beautiful setting with a pleasant decoration. I recommend it.

friendly reception, very pleasant setting on the terrace or inside, this restaurant is a place where you want to come back. Pizzas are superb and excellent, meat to fall, in short, everything is good at the caravelle!

My friend and I had a delicious dinner here when we visited in late October. I had the Ragout d'Agneau (lamb stew) and my friend had Pesto Linguine with Burrata. Both were absolutely wonderful! Tried to get the recipe for the stew, but no luck, lol!

Really good meal, tasty and filling. Very welcoming speaks English better than my French (ok not a high bar). Had pizza, Tarte Arles and creme brulee and wine. Excellent location between the river and the Roman baths, full of people from all over the place really nice.

very good kitchen, quick service for group, only, but, small and confined dining room for 42 people, toilets not suitable for this number of guests, hs AC, by 40°. Beautiful view of the constantin baths "on the terrace", 10mn walk from the bus car park of the station.Sinon, warm welcome!

one does not eat people on 1 bench - one does not serve water of the tap - one respects the chois of the chosen menu because we have ordered lamb and we have to eat daube and all that we have to pay the price announce that the lamb is more expensive than the daube ------ and supplement the legumes was cold

we visited arles and in front of the baths we fell on this little restaurant full of charm. the boss and the waitress very pleasant despite the fact that there are many people on the terrace. The menu of the country is a delight! we feel that the dish is home and prepared with love. the daube a real delight and the very light and not fat home ratatouille at all); and to finish this super meal a divine chocolate melting short go there

"This restaurant is part of a hotel in a very impressive 16th century building. It looks very classy. However, the night we were there, there must have been some serious problems in the kitchen (or maybe it is always like that . We started with a shared plate of charcuterie which took a long time to arrive – how long does it take to arrange the cold meats on a plate? We then waited a very, very long time for our main courses. While waiting, we saw a dispute at another table involving the maître d’ and resulting in plates going back to the kitchen. We had both ordered duck à l’orange which came with Camargue rice. The rice appeared to have been baked in the oven and was so crisp and dry that it resembled a cereal bar. The ‘orange’ was not the usual sauce, but instead was four cubes of orange that appeared to have been scorched on a grill. They added nothing to the dish. It had been suggested that we should share a side of seasonal vegetables. These turned out to be big chunks of boiled potatoes (with rice! , a boiled root vegetable and a couple of dry artichokes. We had interchanges with two servers and the maître d – all were cold and brusque. We lived in France for more than 20 years and appreciate the fact that the French like to take their time with meals, but there is a big difference between leisurely and glacially slow. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, others seem to have had a better experience."
