"Tasty cooking we ate well, even if the meat cooking wasn't too much that, too cooked hair. The team is very nice, but we were kindly pushed to the exit around 22:15. Too bad we'd have stayed a little more. But this restaurant is to be discovered!"

Excellent cuisine, with old forgotten vegetables that we are not used to seeing. The service is great, reasonable price. Thanks to the little pot, I recommend. View menu

Having arrived at this small restaurant by chance, it was a real surprise. Tasty and hearty cuisine, impeccable service. We recommend, perhaps you need to book on weekends because the room is small....

"We ate here recently for second time in its current incarnation as L'Auberge de Correns. We had eaten here several times before when it was known as L'Auberge du Parc. Last time was for lunch; this occasion was for dinner. Other reviewers are right about the pretty location and outside dining and the service is charming and efficient. There is a fixed price menu for dinner as for lunch and at €14 for two courses or €19 for three it is good value but none of the choices was tempting (for example mesclun à l'huile trufée, mixed salad leaves with truffle oil dressing, doesn't count as a dish in my opinion; it's more of an accompaniment). The à la carte had very little choice and even less imagination: at least two items among the entrées were repeated in the mains, one as 'Double' and one as 'XXL'. So we resorted to the chef's specials. As starters all four of us opted for the escalopes of foie gras. This is normally a special dish but this was dull and flavourless and swamped with a thick brown sauce - a reduction of some kind? Who knows? - that was obviously not made in house. Two guests had the grilled swordfish, which was pronounced fine, good even. The other two had cuisse de poulet farcie, stuffed chicken legs. This was unpleasant to eat - the farce was overpowering compared to the chicken. Later, in the middle of the night, both who'd had the chicken were woken by the strong need to vomit. The next day we phoned the restaurant, not to complain but to inform: perhaps they'd had other customers who'd experienced the same problem. The restaurant's response was neither pleasant nor helpful. 'We don't poison our customers' and 'perhaps they have delicate stomachs'! So it's our fault we got food poisoning! This negative attitude means that they have lost four repeat customers and others we'll share our experience with. Can someone please tell me how you say customer care in French? Neither the words nor the concept exist. Tant pis, as they say."
