"I visited La Porchetta for the first time after our b&b hostess recommended it to us for a lovely meal, unfortunately it was a disappointment for us. My partners meal came out around 20-25 minutes before mine did so we ate separately as his was going cold so he began to eat but by the time mine arrived he had just about finished his. Furthermore I had ordered a pasta dish in tomatoe sauce with spinach but I recieved a completely different type of pasta containing ham and mushrooms in a cream sauce but by this time I was starving and quite annoyed so I began to eat it to then realise the pasta was not even cooked!! So I'm not quite sure what took an extra 20-25 minutes when the dish I ordered was completely wrong and under cooked! Also I ordered a mixed salad with vinaigrette to go along side my pasta dish but when it arrived it was completely covered in salad cream and had no vinaigrette on, this probably wouldn't be an issue for most but I cannot stand salad cream so this was waisted also! It seemed we wasnt the only ones with issues as the two young ladies on the table at the side also didn't recieve their chips and when they complained it was confirmed the lady who took the order didn't even write the chips down. It was clear they were busy but this is a poor excuse and maybe if they cannot handle the volume of orders they shouldn't do a delivery service as the phone rang constant and they put more effort into answering that than they did helping customers in the restaurant!"

Wow! Not sure how you can get simple Italian food so wrong. Watery, tasteless sauce with a handful of raw onions chucked in. I could cook better at home in 20 mins. Avoid this place at all costs!

Got a takeaway from here last night and was a bit disappointed. Couldn’t taste any garlic on the garlic bread and the ‘fresh Italian sausage’ on my pizza was more like tinned hotdog than anything Italy would produce ...

Lovely place close to Leister square, fitted in nicely between Harry potter and the cursed child part 1 2. The food was amazing from starter to pudding and the staff just so friendly and helpful. The potions are quite big so we were very full at the end of the meal. Prices very good too.

We found this place thanks to some friends. Our first impression was lovely and since then we visited again and again. Lovely atmosphere, great food and great service. We always enjoy our food.Freshly baked pizza but the main reason we love this place is because of the mussels.Well done to the team.

I think its had-change of ownership.clearly don’t know how to cook a simple Italian food. Warning please avoid this place. I have been sick after eating the spaghetti Vongole!!! Worst Sunday lunch!!! We will not be going back ! Please owner sell your restaurant to new person who will run it like a proper Italian restaurant.

Me and my partner went here last night for a meal. We ordered mussels and calamari to start with a bottle of wine. The mussels was ok a lot of the shells cracked. The calamari was frozen rubbish we asked for some bread with the mussels and it wasnt cooked in the middle very doey. Then for mains we ordered gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and pollo milanese the pasta that came with the chicken was completely tastless. The gnocchi was the worse pasta i have ever seen. It came with raw onions and garlic and a huge lump of dried melted cheese in the middle. When complaining was tutted at and receipts snatched. Was offered 20%of the bill that we took as the manager wasnt listening and didnt want a c...

"my partner and I stay a week in london and have booked a lot of places to eat during our stay. this is a place we will relive on any future adventure. the menu is full of a series of Italian...Delights and my understanding of what to have was a beautiful dilemma. I had the baked flat mushroom with gorgonzola, honey and rocket to begin while my partner had a garlic pizzabrot. my was simply sensational and she was delicious (and easy enough to feed for net I had an eleanora pizza with prosciutto crudo, caramelized wobble, mascarpone and basilikum. the best handmade pizza I ever had! my partner had the tagliatelle pollo e funghi. tagliatelle with mushroom, pancetta and huh in a creamy white sauce. for a communal dish in many Italian restaurants this was a considerable cut over the rest. Of course we have ensured that there was room for dessert (if in rom and all that). it is always particularly exciting to see the cakes made all the house and there is a nice selection of authentic Italian dresses to choose. my partner went for a cheesecake served with fruit-couli, while I had decided to be adventurous and to start something new in the form of canolo siciliano. sweet ricotta wrapped in a fresh, thin baked baked pastry, served with pistachio ice cream and fresh strawberries. first was the cheesecake devine. there are no words for it, it's just fantastic. my adventurous to the unknown has also paid off as I can say that I have never dessert like the canolo. such a variety of aromen on a plate, supplemented with chocolate sauce and a lemon cure was only pure joy. every last crumb of our meal was sensational, as was the drinks as well as the wonderfully dipped and refreshing hot sprout. now is good eating a thing, good service is another. as gastfreundschaft arbeiter himself (I myself a chef and my partner in front of the house) appreciate and appreciate good service when we see it. the way the two waitresses worked effortlessly together, and with care and care and their insidious ability to press on an upsell without being overlaid was a joy in themselves. the handling with a lot of takeaway orders while they can take care of their guests may be difficult (we know) but they treated everything super and everyone had smile on the faces. overall, this was a fantastic evening in a brilliantly guided facility that is quite simply a must-visit place to dive!"
