"Congratulations to La Voile restaurant in Domaine La Réserve in Ramatuelle! We were impressed by the exceptional experience we experienced at La Voile restaurant. As soon as we arrived, the warm welcome made us comfortable to enjoy a memorable evening. This restaurant, with its 2 stars, undoubtedly rivals many 3-star establishments. The culinary quality, the beauty of the setting and the dishes, as well as the professionalism of the staff, have reached unmatched peaks. I can't help but wonder how stars are assigned, because star establishments with 2 or 3 stars seem far from competing with this rare pearl. We were a group of 4 friends and our opinion is unanimous: we had never seen or lived such an experience. And yet, we regularly visit 2 to 3 starred restaurants each month. A great thank you for this unforgettable moment that we shared with you on August 18. Your establishment will remain engraved in our memories. Bravo again and thank you for everything! Magic places! Everything was perfect, the suite was beautiful, we divinely ate well, the staff was in small care while remaining very discreet. And this view of the sea ... Very soon La Réserve Ramatuelle

View menu

I came to show the place to a part of my family who lives in the Caribbean and we took cocktails on the terrace. My advice: forget the Spritz, the Kir Royal and the glass of champagne you took at the beach restaurant and take a cocktail. Under discrete and reserved appearances, the bartender, talented and creative, will be delighted to share with you his passion for cocktails. Listen to him and let him guide you. Personally, I’ve never been disappointed or anyone I’ve made to discover this haven of peace that the formidable team will strive to make your passage a memorable moment.

"Cap 21 Les Murenes is so good that we visited three times in a week with a group of friends. It was, without doubt, our beach restaurant of choice. The wine, white and rose was excellent and the food, bordering on spectacular. The restaurant has...changed in appearance since last year, due to the new regulations for buildings on the beach introduced for the area following last season and even though the bar area is smaller and there are slightly less tables, it has managed to retain its charm. We ordered some plates of 'Encornets Provencal ' (sliced sautéed squid cooked in garlic) for the table, which was probably excessive but worth every calorie and it was magnificent. The starters of Moules a la Mariniere or alternately with basil; Thai chicken salad; Spring Rolls; Caesar Salad; Tuna Sashimi were all highly praised. I had Tuna Salad one day and that was my least favourite dish even though the tuna was nicely cooked, the plethora of fairly plain salad leaves overshadowed it. Sadly, my hit starter from previous visits of 'Crab, Avocado and Mango wasn 't on the menu this year. Amongst the ten of us, we sampled most of the main courses during our visits. The Escalope de Veau was huge; the sole large and celebrated; the seafood linguine generous in both linguine and seafood whilst on each of the three visits I opted for the 'Gambas flambeed in Persillade (garlic and parsley). If you like huge gambas, this should not be missed. Unfortunately, the sole was only available on our first visit and having seen it, I would have opted for that once as an alternative. Whatever you do, order a plate of their chips/frites that are wonderful. I am not sure how they cut and cook them but on each of our visits, the chips at Cap 21 rated amongst the best I have ever had. Whereas Cap 21, like most restaurants in St. Tropez or at the beach isn 't cheap by any means, the restaurant translates as great value for money, amongst the best food for taste and consistency I have experienced (particularly for a beach bar) and exemplifies all the pleasures of visiting the area. Without doubt, Cap 21 is a must visit and one to put on your list at least once (and probably far more) if you are in the area. A gem!"
