The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable compared to other Indian or South Indian restraurants in Cologne. I have become a regular customer and do recommend this place. Owner and staff are very friendly. :-)

The most arrogant display of service and when questioned about his rudeness he was being abusive. I had to walk out of the restaurant because of the owners behaviour. Request guests to avoid this place under any circumstances.

Ok, so, the place itself is really far from being attractive, but the couple running the restaurant is very genuine. Maybe the man could smile a bit more, but his wife makes it up for it, and also cooks tasty and fresh food from Sri Lanka. Also good for take away. View menu

Strongly recommend to avoid this place. Usually I wouldn't be so critical and have let go many bad dining experiences. This one stood out. The owner is likely racist (against south Asians). He got us something we had not asked for and in turn insisted its our mistake. Plus banged the table when we asked him to move a plate away. Additionally overpriced food (dosas) not worth it.

I was disappointed by the appearance and taste of what I was served. I ordered a meal for 8,50 Euros and what I got was a plate of watery tamarind curry with something that tasted like it some salt in it. I liked the mango lassi. It was the creamy and very tasty. But the food and the ambience was dreadful. I will never go back there. The old man that runs the place was so grumpy. Never again!

not your fancily cliche decorated restaurant, very basic, not trying to be authentic that serves one of the best srilankan and south indian food here in cologne. I have been there quite a couple of times and i have enjoyed each time. Their dishes number 19 and 20 are my favs (dosa and chicken curry with naan!). In some of the reviews this place appears to be underrated and not always fairly judged. Here are the facts based on my recent visit:- The restaurant is clean.- The owners are a friendly elder couple. it is not the type of business friendliness that you may find in an upper - class establishment, but a down to earth and more quiet kind of friendliness which finds its expression not so much in big words and a business-like welcome, but rather in a calm smile here and there. - Food: Home-cooked and tasty. There is nothing left for me but to give this cool tiny little place a 5 * review. Hey, you are by Mama! Or would you dare to review a nice friend who invites you to eat by his family anything else but a AAA note?
