"Hard to resist the smell of Indian food....even if you're in the middle of gastronomic Lyon, and traditional "boucherons" are everywhere. We succumbed. The restaurant is cosy and interestingly decorated inside. Service is very friendly. Prices are reasonable. But I'm afraid I just didn't find the food particularly exciting.Perhaps French palates aren't as used to spicy Indian food as us Brits, but my lamb madras was bland, innocuous, and just - well - lacking spice. The meat was tender but it wasn't much more than tepid in temperature either. The other dishes were ok - peas & potato, Kashmiri rice, fluffy cheesy naan breads, and Gill enjoyed her lamb & spinach - but overall it didn;t feel authentic enough for me.Perhaps we should have eaten at a boucheron after all....."

The staff are not attentive and the food is not on point. Gloopy and tasteless! Please save your money and go somewhere else ????

Lacks a vegetarian menu, but does have a number of veggie options. Tried the veg samosa and veg pakora starters. Both very nice, especially with tasty pickles. Main course for me was tarka dhall, tasty enough, but as usual in France lacking in spice.

If you are looking an absolutely horrible meal. Rice is watery, curry has no taste at all and nan bread is the size of a coin. Whoever owns this place needs to have a long hard look at themselves. Would never go back ever ever in a million years. Just so gutted we wasted our money on it. Now have to go to get proper food.

The other Indian restaurant next door was closed so we fell back on this one. The food was not bad at all, but felt like it should have been more tasty, especially for Indian food. It was honestly good, but far from what I've been able to taste in other Indian restaurants elsewhere. The service was okay, but it took ages for them to come and collect the check in spite of nods from the waiters.
