"The restaurant was recommended by my Parisian friend among few others to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday. It wasn't unfortunately a celebratory dinner I expected. The decor was interesting but we were sat at the table in the corner behind a pillar so we couldn't possibly enjoy the surroundings. We had an early dinner so the restaurant was pretty much empty so there were plenty of nicer tables available. The food was ok. It tasted good but nothing special. butGiven the portion sizes I would like it to be blown away by flavours. I wouldn't say it's good value for money. The worst of all was the service. The waitress had a terrible attitude and didn't provide any service at all. She spoke very good English but on every occasion was speaking in French with a little smirk knowing none of us speaks the language. Generally it was pretty unpleasant. I think it was the first time ever I have not left the tip. Overall I wouldn't recommend the place. There are clearly lots of people that had good experience there hence the reason I made a booking myself but it is a little hit and miss. I would not be back."

Handsome contemporary decor and a very attentive service team. The food is quite good and priced commensurately with the location and the quality of service. Their wines are reasonably priced.

We were there on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Many locals - not a tourist trap. Food was good and setting with garden atrium is beautiful. Portions were generous and food was excellent.

The bar is nicely decorated and the staff is usually helpful and nice. They invested a lot in creating a nice space and cool chic atmosphere but then they allow tank tops. The wine is ok but cocktails are average and overpriced. Could be a lot better.

My wife and I and our 2 year-old daughter went there with a couple who have been living in Paris for a year and considered this one of their favorites.Meals were all delicious and restaurant is very spacious, rather unique by Paris standards.Highly recommend!

Cool fancy place, located in the heart of Le Marais area. The garden is lovely and the food is delicious. The sea bass chevice is really super. The desserts are absolutely great. The service is perfect. Special thanks to Alexandra who made our dinner perfect! Thank you

My daughter and I came here on a Sunday night mid-May. It's a large open room and OK atmosphere. Food was OK, but not great. Service OK, not great. We were tired so that might have influenced my feeling about the place but of all the places we went after a week in Paris this is one I would not recommend. Because when in Paris, "OK" isn't good enough for me!

It was our first time in Paris and what a good decision it was to reserve a table in Alcazar! We went there with our 3 year old, very child friendly place. I had stake and my husband had risotto. Really tasty food. We had very attentive waiter( can't remember his name). At the end of the meal my husband received a bday dessert with a candle on it! Thank you Alcazar for making us so welcome!

We had to celebrate and so we did. My wife and I found in l'Alcazar the perfect location to cheer on a good thing that happened to us personnaly. We treated ourself with a very good cocktail from the bar and a three course meal.All was very excellent and magnified by the restaurant setting: exotic yet elegant. Special mention to the main course: Mushroom ravioli, white asparagus and chanterelles earl grey tea broth !
