"L'Alchemille is a 1 star Michelin restaurant located in the Alsatian village of Kaysersberg. The menu here is a surprise, you just get to choose between 5, 7 or 9 course. The chef will gives what what he wants, what's fresh that time in his garden, and what he feels like cooking. I like the element of surprise so it wasn't an issue. Before you're asked if there are any ingredients you don't eat, or if you have any allergies,Service is good, not so much fluent in English but in a way or another you get to communicate. Wine list is good and includes wines for everyone's budget, somellier is more towards selling expensive wines, but he knows his job.Dinner kicked off with a bottle of Cremant,a nicely presented amouse bouche and fresh bread, It then followed with a variety of dishes which included potato mousse, beef tomato with basil snow. deer tartare, salmon, mustard zabaion, pigeon leg, munster and 2 desserts. The star of the night was the beef tomato with herbs and basil snow, followed by the pigeon with glazed peas, carrot puree and pigeon juice. To finish off we were given some petit fours, not bad but it can be improved. We later had a chat with chef Jerome Jaegle who surely has a passion for what he does, and no wonder he was awarded a Michelin star, his creativity on a daily basis is something few can do and maintain such a standard.Total came to around €130 including mid priced wine, 9 course is reasonably priced at €78.If you're in the area, it's a place you'd love to visit. I'll be back."

This restaurant on the outskirts of Kaysersberg offers a cuisine that is inventive and delicious, making good use of herbs and fresh ingredients. The dining room is pleasant and modern, and quiet despite the roadside location. A friendly welcome from the staff completed a very...enjoyable experience.

We went there for dinner choosing the 5 course menu and it was absolutly great. The composition and the sense for details, regional products and cooking methods i for myself hadnt seen in this way to that day made it an awesome evening completed by great service personnel who i would like to especially thank for the good wine recommendation.

Jérôme Jaegle understands to make a menu where fish and meat do not really play the main role and do not miss it. The enjoyment and creative factor is extremely high and in this respect this is a very modern kitchen, combined with fabulous craftsmanship. The service remains reserved something that may be due to the language barrier, but it looks friendly and attentive. That the “L’Alchémille” has become more than a secret tip, we can follow at least tonight.

We were totally blown away by everything about this restaurant, surpassing all of our expectations for a small village restaurant in Alsace. They deserve their Michelin star. The food was creative, and very local. The service was superb and very genuine. The som was very informative. We went with the 7 course menu with wine tasting. Really fun. We met the chef and owner at the end of the meal. A local boy back to his home town. Super nice guy who loves his work and his roots. Worth the short trip out of town. Make a reservation. They fill up fast. View menu

Lovely location, very stylish decor, brilliant service, attention to every detail and PHENOMENAL food and drinks. I’m allergic to alcohol so I couldn’t do a wine pairing but the non alcoholic drink pairing was out of this world! Never seen anything this creative and...I have tested many gourmet restaurants across the world. Alchemille was not only good beyond expectations it is one of the very few UNFORGETTABLE dining experiences. Possibly amongst my top 3 Right up there with Noma and El Bulli. Well done Jerome and team! We will be back again for sure!

Each plate was beatifully presented. The first two dishes were original, especially the second plate with smoked salmon. Main dish was poultry in bouillon with crispy vegetables on the side. Again beautifully presented and very good. Perhaps a somewhat simple dish but prepared in an excellent way. Though the pre-dessert was beatifully presented it was somewhat bland. Contrary to the real dessert which was excellent. Very good bottle of Pinot Gris from the region to accompany the dinner.Modern looking, but still cosy restaurant. Very friendly service. Certainly value for money.

We came back to this new restaurant after a year. A nice, modern decorated place, not too well located outside the beautiful small town of Kayserberg at one of the main entry roads. However, the food is of top quality and quite innovative. We had a three course dinner, reasonably priced. After nice amuses bouches we had as a starter a stunningly original and beautifully tasting tomates confites with meat carpaccio. Very very good. The main dish veal was excellent an very well presented. Quite a refreshing dessert with a very good tasting cumcumber sorbet. A great dinner. Light and refreshing. We will be back. View menu

We were given a recommendation to this restaurant by a local vigneron, and otherwise would not have gone in, as it looks very modern from the street. As it was lunchtime we chose the menu "retour du marché" at 24 euro for 3 courses, and a forfait drinks for 13 euro which comprised 1 glass wine, water and coffee. The service was impeccable, and the various dishes and amuse-gueles arrived with perfect timing. My only complaint was the very small portion quantity. Every mouthful was perfect, but there weren't many of them! I also think that their wine price is rather excessive at 8 euro for a glass of muscat for example, in an area of Alsace which is awash with quality wine. However we will cer...

For a wonderful dining experience do not go past L'alchemille in Kaysersberg, Alsace. Our group of seven chose the Menu Emotion -five courses of sophisticated, delicious food. The complementary apertisers gave a hint of what was to come. A light potato mouse was served first followed by trout and veal both of which were remarkably good. The pre-dessert was light and I would have been happy to have this dish as the final course of the dinner. The main dessert, while exquisite, was not to my taste - a very rich chocolate log with a selection of accompaniments. My fellow diners loved this dish. Knowing that we were eating local produce added to our enjoyment. We ordered wines both white and red...
