"my wife and I were ready to start on a 10-day honeymoon cruise from civitavecchia and when we arrived at the harbour, we realized that we were a day early! we decided to make the best of it. we found a nearby hotel and for dinner in ristorante l’angoletto. the seafood is amazing. we are from a coastal town in the usa and were to many restaurants and none in comparison. the seafood was the freshest I ever tasted. it was delicious. order was a bit overwhelming because the menu is Italian, but we used pictures of trip advisor and showed them on our server to place our order. we have a lot to eat. two things I can remember is the fried calamari and pasta carbonara. we also have a raw seafood plate and a boiled seafood plate. we ate everything. we were there at 19 o'clock, which is apparently early for dinner in Europe. we were the first customers of the night and the owner was our server. after a bottle of wine, eating a lot and dessert it was near 10 o'clock and the restaurant was almost full. this restaurant is really an authentic Italian experience and if I'm ever back in civitavecchia, I will make it a priority to revisit."

Che spettacolo. Adoro la cucina romana e qui c’è tutto il meglio fatto ad arte. Ho avuto il piacere di mangiare quasi tutte le pietanze a più riprese, per constatarne la costanza della qualità. Posso garantire che sono eccellenti.

the hotel is located in a piazza a little distance from the main tourist area of the pantheon so a little quieter than the place, but the tables were occupied mainly by tourist. the menu was extensive and the service was cheerful. we ate gnocchi, which was delicious and calfsalimbocca, that was ok. they enjoyed a delicious melted chocolate dessert. Senza dubbio il miglior ristorante di pesce a Civitavecchia. A pochi metri dal mare, questo ristorante offre un'importante varietà di piatti, che vanno da antipasti marini crudi e cotti, per passare prima all'ottimo e abbondante e concludere con secondi che spesso vedono come protagonista principale la cattura della giornata. I pasticcini preparati dal signor Melania sono la classica ciliegia sulla torta. Provare assolutamente.

l'angolo è sicuramente un punto di riferimento per il pesce a civitavecchia, abbiamo mangiato un fritto di calamari delicati. non essendo un amante del pesce poi siamo andati sulla carne e anche lì sicuramente sapevano come sistemarsi con un filetto di maiale ai deliziosi agrumi e la cicoria di campo ritrattato. tutto senza glutine! il proprietario poi ha insistito che assaporate il loro cheesecake e gli sono grato: Davvero fantastico! Lasciatevi consigliare sull'abbinamento del vino e pranzate perfetto!
