"I wonder how it is possible that this osteria has so many good reviews. it started with the fact that our reserved table had already been forgiven, despite appearing on time. at 18:00 the osteria was filled to about 1/3. the 5-6 service employees present had more important to do than to serve guests. so we waited more than 30 minutes to order a drink at all. I only managed to do this because I stood up and followed a hired person who ignored us persistently. this ignorance of the service staff continued throughout the evening - even for the bills I had to become almost intrusive three times. the presentation of the osteria is based on the more wanted rich people, which is also reflected in the translated voyages. problem: the public who wants to dress the osteria with these trips will not gout the underground service level. as positiw can only be called the beautiful location. the food was in order, but nothing special. must be said that other guests have been served before us who have come later. this was apparently because we did not personally know the patron, which is usually the basis for a decent operation in Italy. the more disappointing for me as a half-tessian, to have to observe this mentality in my home."

FIFTEEN francs for a gin and tonic? Fifteen FRANCS for a gin and tonic?? Fifteen francs for a GIN AND TONIC?? These guys clearly think they're something that they're not. Nice location, OK interior, but they're not in Monte Carlo!

An enchanting place both during the day and in the evening with all the lights that illuminate our place and the view. Sublime pinsa dough, beer for connoisseurs and fast and very friendly service. A place to have a drink or a divine dinner. To return

seasonal paper for this bistro along river and on the banks of the mouth. well prepared dishes. on all the famous mario cut and tartare. But even with the fish, you don't joke. the first ones we didn't try. salads are fresh and crisp. recommended both at lunch and dinner. For dinner, wait for the nightfall...the place on the outside becomes romantic. View menu

Most ridiculous thing ever. Empty place. Nobody inside or in one of the covered terraces. Few people outside having drinks. in the afternoon it starts raining and instead of them letting people at least sit under one of the umbrellas they turn everyone away because it is all reserved' for evening. I repeat it's in the afternoon! So everyone ran away, standing under a roof of nearby building...the place empty, completely...

this restaurant should be essential to anyone who visits Lugano. At least, with that feeling I'm staying after the dinner that enjoys everything. is a 15-minute walk from the shore of the lake, crossing the park. and offers a good variety of Mediterranean and Lombard dishes. It is what has to be in the Swiss Italian the environment is perfect and the waiters, majsimos. but the dishes that I dared with a risotto that has undoubtedly become part of the olympus of rice. excellent. desserts, homemade, were also a wonder.

"Me and my husband chose this restaurant to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We came all the way from USA and I can tell you this place didn't disappoint us. Very nice location, close to the lake and easy to find. We started our 5 course chef's tasting menu from appetizers by chef. It was mix of cheeses in different variations deep fried, cream cheese, cheese truffle and refreshing gazpacho soup. 1.Our first tasting dish were amberjack ceviche with fresh mint, peach and lemon sauce. It was absolutely delightful. 2.Then we had poached egg in creamy pea puree and shaved with Belèer Knolle cheese. It was also one of my favorite dishes because it was so creamy and egg was a great addition to this dish. Also there were Bona crumbles sweet to balance the pea puree. 3. Next Paccheridi Gragnano halves with oriental veal ragout. unfortunately this pasta wasn't my favorite. It was too al dente and I am not used to such a thick uncooked pasta. We ask waiter and he confirmed that's the way it should be. Also too much peanuts overwhelmed the sauce and it felt you are eating sneakers. But I absolutely loved veal ragout sauce, it was rich with flavors and very nicely done. 4.Then our next dish was Red Mediterranean tuna with charcoal, teriyaki mayonnaise, cucumber and puffed rice with seaweed. It was the best cooked tuna that I ever tried. It was so tender and melting on my tongue. 5. Next was perfectly cooked Duck with cherries. I absolutely loved duck, it was cooked to perfection!!! 6. Pre dessert strawberry basil puree to refresh tasting buds and prepare for the dessert. 7. Vanilla cheesecake with apricot and carrot sorbet with prune compote. 8. And complementary truffle selection from Chef to congratulate us with our anniversary. Absolutely best anniversary meal. I also loved that service here was very open and nice. It was my first Michelin star experience and I didn't felt any snobbism, like in other restaurants in Milan for example. Nice presentation, and all dishes were properly described in English for us which is additional plus since my husband doesn't speak Italian. Absolutely worth the trip!"
