"We are simply delighted to have tried this cafe, which was not by design, but because it was in our neighborhood and we had stayed out late our first day in Paris. A quick glimpse at Trip Advisor told us that the place showed much promise, which indeed it lived up to.Their onion soup is superb; both my wife and I tried it. I tried the French sausage and fell in love with the potato puree it was accompanied by. My wife tried the duck and loved it. The restaurant owner, Robert, is the antithesis of the stereotypical Frenchman: affable, courteous, open for dialogue and very, very funny. Our exchange with him makes the experience worthwhile, but his kitchen's fare adds so much more to it! Clearly, he had many regulars from who know him well and with whom he chatted and entertained.A great place and a great value. Don't miss it."

Fantastic food and wine. Very friendly, timely and personable service. I will definitely try to visit again on another trip to Paris.

On recommande! Le seul petit bémol est le fait que cela ne soit pas climatisé avec cette chaleur...

Have stopped by for a dinner in end of May 2017. The food is decent, but nothing really special. The staff for rather friendly. Was somewhat disappointed about the bill - the drinks (small glass of wine + small bottle of water) totalled almost as much as the main dish. Next day have found a much better option very close with cheaper and tastier food (&, not surprisingly, much higher Tripadvisor rating)

I went there last week and learned that the restaurant changed owners. It is now run by a young couple. My overall first impression after a quick dinner was rather positive. No radical changes to the menu. A good and solid collection of French food. Mor haute cuisine but well done and presented. More attention to details than before and a friendly, attentive service. Reasonable prices in an area that is not even 200m away from the Arc de Triomphe makes it even more attractive. Definitely recommended!

I sat outside at what appeared to be a lovey little cafe with my wife for what was our first lunch together in Paris. I myself have been to Paris numerous times and was excited for us to share this meal together - what a shame. Both the "croque monsieur" and "croque Camembert" we ordered were no more than some cold cheese and ham slapped on a piece of slightly soggy wheat toast. The top was inexplicably browned to give the appearance of a croque, but all it turned out to be was a croc.In short, when given the choice between L'Arc and a freshly run-over pigeon I witnessed down the street, I regret having chose the former.
