"Recommended by our hotel and where we had two enjoyable meals during a stay near Uzes and Ales. Booking is essential in the summer as even though the outside patio is quite large they are careful not to over stretch the kitchen. The menu...has four starters, four mains and a variety of puddings all home made apart from the ice cream. We particularly liked the foie gras, tomato triology with chevre, snails, profiteroles and creme brulee. As some reviews have indicated, the mains are slightly less tempting but it may be because magret de canard features on most menus in the area and we didn 't feel like eating slow cooked lamb shank on a hot evening! The wine is priced very fairly and the service is faultless. There is parking close by so you don 't need to leave your car in the designated area below the village simply drive up the access road and follow the signs to the Bistrot!"

The food here is always tasty and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly and very patient with non-french speaking clients. Come for dinner and watch the sunset from the patio.
