"We followed the signs to Le Lavachet and this is the first place you see when you reach the end of the path. It was nice they had stands for snowboard/ski just outside. It feels like a normal pub with high tables and stools on...one side and tables and chairs near the back. We went to the tables by the windows. After getting menus, they came back to the table to get our orders. We watched the snow fall as we waited for our meals. I thought it was nice they had free WiFi, the password on the wall by the dining area. I had the halloumi salad and that was quite nice with the crispy halloumi and chickpeas mixing in with the soft avocado, quinoa, and leaves. The flavours were nice and refreshing. If you wanted to go back to snowboarding afterward, you just cross the road to get to the path that leads back to the chairlifts."

A shock, staying for a week in the area and this I guess was our local. Ordered a steak x3 (not all for me! Everyone agreed this was the best pub steak and in one of the top ten I ever had. Service great everyone.

Three of us enjoyed a superb meal at Le Brasero. The atmosphere was casual, but the food was anything but. We couldn't fault the service, presentation or quality of the meals we had. I'd recommend without hesitation and hope to return before too long. View menu

Le brasero is not only a bar but also a quality restaurant. We came back 3 times in a week, quality service (morgan), excellent meal, and good atmosphere. If you only go to one restaurant during your week, go there with your eyes closed, especially for the service and the exceptional kindness of Morgane.

my man and I discovered this bar/restaurant at our first night in tignes, just around the corner of our apartment. it was burns night, so we had haggis, neeps didties that was delicious. the service was excellent (friendly English ladies) and the atmosphere was...live some people still enjoy their ancestor ski at the bar and some like us at the back with dinner, plus live football on the tw. we enjoyed it so much that we returned later in the week for a burger/Quesadillas and for apres skibier after our last ski tour. highly recommended for a pleasant, affordable eating or drinks in le lavachet.

"Had a reservation here for new years eve. The restaurant has a modern interior, with a lot pf qiirky art on the walls. The restaurant was running a double service, but clearly did not have the staff to manage this. While the staff was friendly...and trying their best to manage, it was not a success. We arrived at the time of our reservation 2130), but had to wait 20 minutes for our table as the previous service was overrunning. Subsequently another 20 minutes afterwards to get anyones attention to order a drink. The food was a set menu, which came at a reasonably steep price €80), and had some hit and misses. The first course consisted of crab in jelly, with a fennel mousse. None of our group were particularly impressed, and most other tables neither. Personally I had three bites and left the rest after one fellow diner remarked it looked a bit too much like Whiskas, I lost my appetite. The second course however was stunning Coquilles st Jaques with Herring Caviar. Fabulous dish. The main couse was pidgeon a local specialty. It was well prepared, the cuisson was good and flavour too. The dessert had the potential to be interesting granita ice of violettes, with a chocolate cream. The tastes of both elements was good, but unfortunately the texture of the shaved ice, and chocolate cream did not mix well at all. Overall a somewhat disappointing experience, after having read the raving reviews on tripadvisor. We might come back on a quieter day to try the a la carte menu."
