"The only place in St Lizier open on a Monday evening. A roadside café and restaurant with a pleasant enough terrace but close to a busy and noisy main road. There were very few diners but our service was friendly, prompt and attentive. Food was OK. Huge and delicious salad for entrée. The steak was edible, although I asked for saignant and got almost medium. But why serve it with a mixture of braised spuds, turnips and carrots instead of good old chips? The chef's recommended red wine, a Corbières, was utterly delicious. Desserts uninspiring (fruit salad, crème brulée, ice cream... . Meal at €25 decent value."

Good cuisine, with local and seasonal products. Proprietary sympathy. ...nothing to say otherwise that I always come back with pleasure.

The skipper is always behind the waitress reminds him what should be done even in the kitchen waiting a little longer the correct meal the menu at 26€ is for me unjustified, the behavior of the boss leaves to desire

I stopped here for lunch with my family. It is right along the highway. Easy to get into. Three of us had the lamb and one order of duck. It was all fabulous. Excellent sides, lots to eat. It’s a great place to stop. Service started with a pallet refreshing special on the house. Deserts were to die for. We had the crepes and profiteroles. All was superb.

on a visit to Saint-Lizier last weekend, my companion and I stopped eating at the cottage to sing. We were served by a charming lady for a very good value for money! A gourmet salad in the entrance, local products, foie gras, duck magret...Follow with a duck jam and a grilled duck magret for my companion. We have enjoyed ourselves and hope to come back this summer to enjoy their beautiful terrace!

I’m not sure if the past reviewers were in the same place but as a Francophile Anglais foodie I cannot fault this place. A €19 menu on a Saturday. Quality faux filet everything was home made. Chocolate mouse was divine as was the flan caramel. We have eaten in Michelin world wide. Look; the place is kitch slime my auntie Margaret’s house in yorkshire but the service, with fun, little naughty and just kind was just perfect. Opposite Lidl too! Do your shopping and get yourself in here!
